Job Description Overview: In addition to assigned field service duties, is responsible for training, assigning, monitoring, checking and coordinating work of the team. Assists Service Manger with scheduling and executing maintenance and troubleshooting work of other FST's. Provides input to and fills in for Service Manger as needed. Considered a technical expert who can work independently with limited technical oversight. Skills and Abilities: Ability to: - Demonstrate leadership skills, to oversee activities of assigned team and to assist with the assessment of skills and performance, identification, prioritization, and resolution of problems. - Effectively interact with internal and external contacts using strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. - Fill in for the Service Manager. - Demonstrate advanced diagnostic and repair skills on multiple types of equipment including compressor packages, gas process and power generation equipment used within the region. - perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) to standard with no help. - lead a team performing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul and MOB/DEMOB projects to standard with limited to no assistance. - Perform compressor calculations. - Read, write and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.) - Model all health, safety and environmental procedures. - Use computer skills, including vendor specific programs (Cat, Waukesha, Ariel, Murphy, etc.), Internet Explorer, Outlook, Oracle and Maintenance Scheduler. - Lead by example by completing and submitting company required documentation in an accurate, thorough and timely fashion and following standard protocols. Knowledge: - Thorough knowledge of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, panel boards, controls, skid wiring, etc., through advanced training or performance verification. - Knowledge of new technologies. - Thorough knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations. - Basic knowledge of company maintenance scheduler and other company software tools. - Fully understands customer’s production equipment. - Fully understands all processes and systems how compressor works regardless of types, makes or models used in the region. Job DescriptionDescription: Training with Shop Foreman and experienced Jar Techs to learn proper tool maintenance & proper documentation procedures. Will work in all areas of the shop as needed while training, including : wash bay, assembly/disassembly, fill unit, test area, and paint area. Working towards becoming a Jar Tech II. Position Duties Responsible for learning the following tasks (performed under supervision): Testing dirty jars upon arrival from the field Drain oil from jars, dissemble, remove seals, and tag parts Steam clean and soak tool in acid Recognize faulty parts Assemble jars Load & unload trucks Fill Tool with oil Test assembled jars Paint, stencil, and drift Put jars in stock Operate overhead crane & forklift Primary training is on Megaton product line Maintain neat housekeeping Work assignments completed timely & to appropriate standards Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job Return all hand tools to their proper location daily Must adhere to all HSE standards and KES company policies Other duties as assigned Work Environment Typically works in a moderately noisy environment Routine exposure to the elements, including working outdoors and in a non-climate controlled building Repetitive motions Requirements: Competencies Required for Effective Performance One (1) year experience Individual must be able to follow instructions Should be able to work closely with fellow employees Mechanical aptitude helpful Must be available for 24 hour on call status Safety and service oriented Team player Positive attitude Comfortable working in a fast pace environment Education High School Diploma or GED
