Job Summary
The Lead Service Technician is responsible for execution of tasks as assigned by the Service Supervisor, Project Manager, or other Management. The Lead Service Technician may be responsible for leading certain projects and supervising Service Technicians Specific job tasks would include but not be limited to assisting with Filtration, flushing, and testing, hydro blasting, chemical cleaning, umbilical services and be trained and ready to be cross utilized with other BlueFin business groups. The Lead Service Technician will conduct all activities in an accountable, respectful, and professional manner at all times and fully support the completion of work in accordance with BlueFin quality and safety standards. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and perform field services in accordance with work plan, procedures and/or SOP, and ability to distinguish the work at hand from the work plan/procedure and how to proceed while making field decisions to drive the project.
Knowledge and proven ability to operate equipment utilized and to train employees on such equipment.
Lead and supervise a field work crew.
Ability to train and develop Service Technicians on job requirements
Service, maintain, repair, and test equipment/ tools for pre/post jobs or as instructed in shop.
Load/ unload equipment when required.
Write or participate in writing JSA’s for job task assigned.
Increase knowledge and participate in training on other product lines and services.
Participation and Compliance with BlueFin HSE and Quality Management System.
Comply with all company policies (Safety, quality, general, SOP’s, etc.).
Required to work on both land and offshore jobs.
Available 24-hour call (except for scheduled vacation).
Have reliable means of transportation to and from BlueFin office.

What You Can Expect Working in the Offshore Field Service Technician Position
The Offshore Field Service Technician is part of a team of service personnel who support our growing offshore segment of business by completing refurbishment projects and service customers assets for RedGuard’s/Armoda customers. In this role, you will perform all aspects of onshore and offshore field service and will have access to a pool vehicle (company truck depending on qualifications of role), depending on to provide customer support, and complete refurbishment and commission work in accordance with company quality and safety procedures, building, maritime and international codes, and client specifications. When not directly working on Armoda fleet or refurbishment projects, you will support the service yard in the maintenance and modification of other RedGuard/Armoda assets including blast-resistant, modular buildings and other industrial buildings. In this role, you will be required to work independently or as a team while upholding RedGuard’s values of quality and safety. You will participate in both scheduled and non-scheduled callouts on- and offshore, as needed. Offshore Field Service Technicians are integral in providing a great customer experience to ensure RedGuard maintains the status as a preferred vendor for our clients. 18. Keeping an accurate and up-to-date inventory of tools and supplies.
19. Stripping any discarded appliances or equipment of any usable parts.
20. Recording the serial numbers of appliances in each apartment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Schedule: This position is full-time, working Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with on-call availability as needed.
As a Plumbing Technician - Plumber, your day starts at our central location, where you check in before heading out to various service calls across New Iberia. You handle a range of tasks, from repairs and installations to remodels and emergency calls. With each job, you assess the situation, communicate clear solutions to clients, and ensure every detail is handled efficiently. Organization and maintenance of your truck is key as you respond to daily client needs and emergency calls.
The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered:
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
3+ years of emergency plumbing service experience
Own hand tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Tradesman or residential plumbing license
Apprenticeship card

Service Technician
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused and highly driven Service Technician. The Service Technician will responsible for diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining a positive relationship with dealership associates and customers alike.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
Examine vehicles, diagnose and if needed, discuss with the Service Manager or Service Advisor as to the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
Communicate additional service requests to the Service Advisor for discussion with customers
Provide labor time estimates per job to Service Advisor
Monitor repair times and update Service Advisor to keep customer abreast of everything going on with their vehicle
Understand and properly utilize all dealership computer systems, tools, computer programs, etc.
Adhere to OSHA standards

Training with Shop Foreman and experienced Jar Techs to learn proper tool maintenance & proper documentation procedures. Will work in all areas of the shop as needed while training, including : wash bay, assembly/disassembly, fill unit, test area, and paint area. Working towards becoming a Jar Tech II.
Position Duties
Responsible for learning the following tasks (performed under supervision):
Testing dirty jars upon arrival from the field
Drain oil from jars, dissemble, remove seals, and tag parts
Steam clean and soak tool in acid
Recognize faulty parts
Assemble jars
Load & unload trucks
Fill Tool with oil
Test assembled jars
Paint, stencil, and drift
Put jars in stock
Operate overhead crane & forklift
Primary training is on Megaton product line
Maintain neat housekeeping
Work assignments completed timely & to appropriate standards
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
Return all hand tools to their proper location daily
Must adhere to all HSE standards and KES company policies
