About the Role
We're seeking an experienced, empathetic, and technically skilled Customer Service & Bike Tech to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines technical bike expertise with exceptional customer care, supporting both our direct-to-consumer (D2C) and dealer (B2B) channels.
You'll be the go-to expert for customer and dealer inquiries, troubleshooting bike and e-bike issues, managing warranty claims, and ensuring every interaction reflects the Retrospec brand's commitment to quality, integrity, and outdoor adventure. Responsibilities
Receive, research, and respond to customer and dealer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media with empathy and professionalism.
Provide expert-level knowledge and troubleshooting support for bikes and e-bikes, including assembly, repair, maintenance, and general technical questions.
Manage consumer and dealer warranty claims, acting as a liaison between customers, sales, product, and warehouse teams.
Walk customers through assembly and troubleshooting steps clearly and confidently via phone or email.
Process returns, exchanges, and replacement parts with attention to accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the warranty, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure timely resolutions and a seamless experience for both consumers and dealers.
Build and inspect new and returned bikes for troubleshooting and quality control, as needed.
Respond to and monitor social media inquiries and reviews, escalating trends or product feedback to the appropriate teams.
Track and flag recurring issues, inefficiencies, or product concerns to improve customer experience and operational processes.
Maintain accurate communication records in Gorgias using automations and workflows to manage volume efficiently.
Communicate customer insights and product feedback constructively to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
Quickly become familiar with the Retrospec brand voice, customer service protocols, and software platforms to provide high-quality support.
Assist with additional customer service and clerical tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
2-3 years of ecommerce customer service experience; bike industry experience highly preferred.
Strong understanding of bike and e-bike mechanics, assembly, repair, and maintenance.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Experience with customer service tools such as Gorgias or Zendesk.
Proven ability to manage a high volume of tickets, calls, and multi-channel inquiries efficiently.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient computer literacy and quick adaptability to new systems.
AA degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience managing warranty processes and dealer accounts is a plus.
Familiarity with social media or online community communication is a bonus.
Passion for outdoor recreation, cycling, and the Retrospec mission.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs as needed.

May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites.
Occasional local travel during the workday.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Crane certification preferred, however if candidate is not certified at the time of employment, company will train for crane certified operations.
Capable of reading, understanding and following company procedures.

About the Role
In this position most of your time will be spent in the field diagnosing or repairing our ATM and multi-function cash handing (TITO Kiosk) devices and requires a fair amount of travel by car for the service area. You will be reimbursed for your mileage. Experience with ATM's (specifically Diebold or Wincor Nixdorf), similar types of equipment, slot machines, and Microsoft OS software would be a positive for this position.
As a Field ServiceTechnician, you are responsible for addressing technical customer problems related to our ATM and multi-function cash handling kiosk products, working closely with our Customer Service Center (CSC), Regional Support Managers (RSM) and our client's casino cage and IT staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of hardware and software. We will provide training and necessary equipment (tools, laptop, customer software, test software and spare parts) to create that professional foundation to perform your job at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
• You may be dispatched daily one or more times on a call-by-call basis. The shifts are 10 hours a day on call with a 4-day work week and 3-days off. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, or flex shifts may be required. Occasionally you may be required to fly to a location and stay several days or more to assist another colleague in a different region with a project.
• Dispatches will typically include diagnosing, repairing, or swapping of hardware components, cleaning and adjustment of mechanical components, and configuration and installation of software.

• Perform routine checks according to documented preventative maintenance procedures and refill consumables like receipt paper as directed.

• College education and/or other certification in technology areas.
• 1-2 years of experience in repairs of any ATM, computer electronics with hardware and software components, or cash handling equipment and/or related devices like slot machines.

What You'll Do:
Diagnose and perform repairs on engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension & more
Use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer procedures
Communicate clearly with service advisors and other team members
Perform test drives and inspections for accurate repairs
Complete warranty repairs and maintain repair logs
What You Bring:
2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Positive attitude and ability to work independently or on a team
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Manufacture Certifications a plus!
ASE certifications a plus!

The Big Task
You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
Key Sub Tasks
* Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
* Keep your company truck clean; inside, and out.
* Keep your truck inventory up to date.
* Properly complete paperwork.
* Join the on-call rotation.
* Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
* Have and maintain a clean driving record.
* Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
* Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
