Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they're well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:
Requires a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical solving, including AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480), high amperage and some 400 cycle equipment
Requires experience in industrial wiring and the ability to read and follow wiring schematics and work without supervision
Journeyman electrical license a plus
Requires the ability to make low and high voltage repairs to all building electrical equipment
This includes solving, installation and repair of 110/220/480 volt single and multiphase electrical circuitry and devices
You should also have some experience in related building equipment and trades, such as air handling units, plumbing and steam fitting, fire systems and conveyors
Facilities Technicians must be able to work around the clock shifts, including weekends and holidays, in the outdoors in all weather conditions
Schedules are bid and awarded according to seniority
Facilities Technicians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT)
Salary increases will be administered according to the current IBT/United contract
New employees are required to join the union within ninety (90) days of employment
There is an initiation fee for joining the union and subsequent monthly union dues which are set by the Local Lodge
Qualifications

Twenty-Four months experience required in at least three of the following areas:
Electrical (including 480 volt, 3 phase)
Structural (including steel frame construction)
HVAC (including building management systems)

Ability to maintain and repair all building disciplines, heavy mechanical and welding
Work may be indoors or outside or in elevated areas anywhere on airport
Must be able to climb and work from ladders, and/or walk for extended periods
Moderate lifting
Must possess sufficient tooling to perform required tasks
Computer experience for input and retrieval of data

The Lift Maintenance department is looking for a Ropeway Electrical Technician to add to the team! Formal training in electronics and lift electrical maintenance experience required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for aiding in the monitoring and maintaining of all lift electrical equipment to ensure the safest and most reliable lift operation possible
Will be involved in the installation of lift control systems on new and existing lifts
Must complete work orders on all maintenance activities
Must maintain an understanding of the current rules and regulations of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board and other applicable agencies
Must become proficient at starting stalled ski lifts; assist in running lifts under auxiliary power and following lift failure and evacuation procedures
Must continually demonstrate a willingness and motivation to learn and develop the job skills that are specific to the types of equipment that must be maintained
Must be able to work well within a team to create a positive work environment in a high volume, and at times, stressful position
May work nights and weekends during the summer and winter seasons as needed
Must have a valid drivers' license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standards

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. The Splicer position is a skilled position he/she will have the experience and knowledge to perform all the duties of a Fiber Splicer. This position will need to be flexible in their hours, with occasional on-call duties including night and weekend work. The Splicer will frequently communicate with the customer and act in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
All phases of fiber optic construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.

Qualifications:
Possess a valid driver's license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
A good driving record is required.
Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of trucks and bucket trucks.
Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet.
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
Knowledge of fiber optic color code and numbers associated.
Ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights and weekends.
Understanding of terminology used in fiber splicing.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position, based on a 40 hours per week. This position operates in various different environment, including cold, rain, sleet, snow, high and low temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day, including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:

Provide shift pass-down communication for safety, quality, and production updates.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (technical/associates degree preferred).
5+ years' experience in mechanical, maintenance, or utilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
2+ years' experience with HVAC, combustion systems, or ammonia refrigeration strongly preferred.
Food manufacturing or regulated environment experience preferred.
Knowledge of utility plant controls, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance a plus.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills (English required).
