HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Provide Technical Expertise: Program and troubleshoot HMI graphical interfaces and PLCs, calibrate weigh scale systems, load cells, and loss of weight feeders. Also provide your knowledge on analog control loops, PID, 4-20, logic, process controls, set-up and calibration procedures
Prioritizing Innovation and Communication - Actively seek ways to improve plant efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities. All while maintaining an open dialogue with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding day-to-day activities and working side by side with Maintenance Electricians
Partner and Collaborate with Team - Constantly work with others on your team to identify best practices, solutions, and techniques in solving all of our plants biggest breakdowns or troubleshooting needs

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines, transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (including regeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC systems and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.

Training

Experience working with air brakes, hydraulic & electrical systems
Prior welding and fabrication experience required
Tire repair experience (repair, mounting, dismounting) preferred
Perform DOT inspections and compliancy
Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine technical repairs and completing repair orders
Perform maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and any company-owned equipment
Abide by all Company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues
Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors
Safely operates gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power safety tools

What will you be doing?
As a Field Technician, you will be representing DISH in customers' homes daily. We build our value by simplifying lives and using the DISH install to consult homeowners on their infinite smart home possibilities.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
All technicians must have:
Aptitude to build rapport quickly. We want you to have a great time servicing our clients
Ability to stand on a high ladder (up to 40 feet) for long periods of time, lift over 70 lbs at a time and remain within the individual weight limit requirements of 335 lbs
Ability to crawl into small spaces and work in varying climates/weather conditions
A valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment with a driving record that meets DISH's safety standard
Travel may be required
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $17.75/Hour

Job Functions:
Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
Assist customers with roadside services
Provide preventative maintenance services
Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
