    (Temporary | April/May - August/September) The Seasonal Seed & Chemical Operations Technician supports spring and summer agronomy operations by assisting with seed and crop protection product handling, loading, delivery preparation, and general facility support. This role is critical during peak planting and application seasons and requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment. This is a temporary, seasonal position typically running from April/May through August/September, depending on weather and operational needs. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Maintain and repair Packaged Rooftop Air Conditioning, perform visual inspections, filter changes, lubrication, and other service and maintenance regimen to keep the HVAC equipment performing efficiently. * Maintain and repair chilled water & hot water fan coil systems and associated valves and apparatus. * Disassembles and assembles component parts to air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units and other related small appliances. * Check operating condition, and maintain all sub-components (HVAC, room AC, heating units, ice machines and water coolers etc.) associated with air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units and other related small appliances. * Checks heating and refrigerant piping for leaks and signs of deterioration, and takes appropriate measures to correct, repair, and extend the life of piping and connected equipment. * Uses meters and test instruments to detect and repair problems on air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units and other related small appliances and initiates action to correct and repair the problems. * Evaluates/modifies ventilation systems to improve cooling/heating efficiency and comfort. * Operates, regulates, maintains, and controls through Operator Interface, rooftop air handling and other HVAC systems, to provide efficient use of cooling resources with energy management considered to reduce energy consumption and billing. * Responsible for identifying, requisitioning for repair and replacement parts for air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units and other related small appliances under his control, or equipment on sub-systems directly related to these systems. * Replace and repair thermostats and electrical circuits associated with heating and cooling systems. * Knowledgeable of computerized building management systems and performs standard duties as systems operator and can detect trouble in these systems with reasonable success at least 80% of the time. * Other duties may include (but are not limited to) minor repair to plumbing, painting, electrical and various types of structural systems. * Maintains work orders appropriately in the PM and Work Order System program. * Other related job duties as assigned.
