JOB SUMMARY: Utilities Technician II is responsible for performing maintenance and troubleshooting to mechanical and utilities equipment in a pharmaceutical environment and handle repairs and diagnosis of electrical equipment and major repairs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine and/or preventive maintenance as needed or assigned by supervisor for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functions of utilities systems including, but not limited to steam, compress air, reverse osmosis, power generator, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and electrical systems.
Accurately diagnose problems and or failures in plumbing, air conditioning, mechanical and electrical systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and /or system repairs and replacement needs.
Thoroughly inspect Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems and their components (not limited to: AHU's, Fans, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Water Tanks, Plumbing Fixtures) for the purpose of ensuring safety, evaluating equipment status, and identifying necessary repairs in new and current customers.
Follows and enforce ASI's safety program in order to maintain ZERO accidents and Total Compliance.
For each service performed prepare detailed documentation (Service Job Report) for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and or conveying information to clients.
Work with limited supervision.
REQUIREMENTS:
Refrigeration License or Licensed Electrician.
Minimum of 5-9 years of previous experience working in a relative environment.
Availability to work different shifts on a 24/7 working schedule.
Basic English language

Job Description
Primary job functions include working under a Field Service Superintendent on projects sites and leading a crew onsite with executing tasks assigned by site superintendent. This includes demolition, installation, operating machinery, such as telehandlers and skid steers, and receiving material at job sites. Lead a crew on a project site without the full-time presence of the site superintendent.
Additional job responsibilities include perform tank inspections at tank fabrication sites, oversee installations at the project sites where installation work in being performed by a contractor, performing filter inspections, and assisting the Service Engineer and the Process Controls Engineer with equipment (blowers, actuators etc.) setup during project commissioning.
Field service work will be mostly mechanical in nature, with some masonry work. Installation and demolition of some low voltage electrical equipment, mostly field instrumentation may also be required. The job requires a lot of diversity across projects.
Field travel is required and may exceed 70% of the time depending on project workload. Travel both domestic and foreign is required. The position has the potential for growth within the Service Department and across the company. The Field Service Tech III will report to the Manager of Roberts Services, while reporting to the assigned project superintendent while on a project site.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching throughout the shift

• Ability to tolerate exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments, including heat, humidity, and cold
• Capable of working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces, ceilings, and mechanical rooms
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and sometimes long hours.
