The most common degree for service technicians is associate degree with 29% graduates, with only 29% service technician graduates earning high school diploma. Service technicians who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Phoenix or DeVry University. Some good skills to have in this position include plumbing, customer service and preventative maintenance.
