What you'll be doing:
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required.
Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures.
Performing basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

This role includes copper and fiber cabling installation, equipment staging and inventory control, quality assurance, and support of overall data center infrastructure deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Deployment
Install, route, and secure structured cabling including Cat5e/6/6A, coax, and fiber-optic (single-mode and multi-mode) cables.
Build and install racks, cabinets, ladder racks, cable trays, cable baskets, and fiber raceways.
Terminate copper and fiber cables to industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, manufacturer specifications).
Install patch panels, cable managers, equipment shelves, and associated hardware.
Label all cables and infrastructure according to project documentation and QC requirements.
Equipment Staging & Inventory Management
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming materials, hardware, and equipment.

Responsible for performing quality work on various brands as effectively and profitably as possible. This includes diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, maintaining the care of company assets, and maintaining proper communication with others.

Two (2) years' experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment
Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics
Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools and any special tools required by the company
Ability to occasionally work overtime, stay overnight, and work on weekends when needed
Maintain a valid driver's license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
· Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment. Including trouble shooting, electrical and diagnostic services.
· Read Repair Order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
· Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
· Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
· Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs,differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts.
· Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.
· Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications.
· Advise the Service Supervisor if additional repair work is necessary
· Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
· Maintain a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools
· Follow safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary.
· Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
· Other duties assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
· Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
· Related technical school training preferred.
· Three to five years of commercial truck technical service experience.
· Engine certifications preferred: Cummins, Detroit, International, etc.
· Necessary tools to perform job responsibilities
· Ability to work and learn independently.
· Strong written/ verbal communication skills required.
· Ability to use various windows based computer software. Experience with engine software a plus
· Valid commercial drivers license preferred.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. This position will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical inspection, start-up maintenance on the equipment we sell. Responsibilities
Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
Perform specific preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment
Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements
Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s)
Represents the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors and owners
Advises owner/representative of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken
Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customer

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. This position will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical inspection, start-up maintenance on the equipment we sell. This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic go-getter. An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others. Position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and customers.
Responsibilities
* Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
* Perform specific preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment
* Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s)
* Represents the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors and owners
* Advises owner/representative of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken
* Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customer
* Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
* Submits required paperwork to Service Coordinator in a timely manner
* Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must have valid driver's license with good driving record
* Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 5+ years' experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
* Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
* Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)
* Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
* Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance requirements of multiple and varied duties
