Responsibilities:
- Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance and testing on equipment Perform maintenance tasks to include - repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment.
- Identify processing waste reduction opportunities and assist in reduction projects.
- Participate in preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations through PM optimization.
- Dismantles, cleans, repairs and tests electrical, electronic and mechanical components to determine component-level failure

- Recommends equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs. Perform Preventative Maintenance task to identify all potential mechanical and electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant. Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM's.
- Troubleshoot/ investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc. Eliminates problems from recurring utilizing the Breakdown Analysis process
- Communicates directly with equipment suppliers, contractors and vendors as necessary

Qualifications:
Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience with high and low pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred
Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs and SAP system preferred
Successfully demonstrates strong mechanical abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees.

What you will be doing
As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring building equipment for safety purposes and repairs. Troubleshooting refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions, and making recommendations for further action.

General Description: Recovery Technicians (RT) are a key employee within Wellspring's Continuum of Care. While work duties may vary slightly within specific programs, all RT staff should be able to work at any program with minimal extra-training. Some sites need the RTs to assist with cooking and cleaning, or have a requirement for overnight staff member to stay awake. All programs require RT's to have a friendly, supportive affect with all clients and to engage in conversation, and activities with the clients. Depending on the program, RT's help clients in their recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders through role modeling, and empathetic trauma-informed support using motivational interviewing when appropriate.
This position is considered essential personnel to Wellspring's staffing plan and plays a vital role in the security, safety, and critical operations of our residential programs. Employees are expected to be prepared with reliable transportation and caregiver coverage to report to regularly scheduled shifts including during inclement weather.
BASIC PURPOSE AND KEY ELEMENTS: This position requires an unwavering commitment to safety and the ability to continuously assess and manage ongoing developments and concerns of client care.
Monitors the program during assigned shifts, assessing the safety needs of residents and implementing agency procedures in the event of a crisis or an emergency.
Acts as a positive role model, providing clients with guidance and support during non-treatment hours.
Monitors the distribution of medications in accordance with agency and Maine state regulations during non-treatment hours.

Coordinate the safety, security and supervision of the clients and the facility outside of treatment hours.

What You Will Need
Prior hands-on experience as a Fiber Splicing Technician
Strong understanding of single and mass fusion splicing, cable prep, and termination
Ability to identify and troubleshoot fiber issues, including characterization and advanced testing
Familiar with multiple OSP/ISP splice enclosures and common industry equipment
