As an Angio/Interventionalist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our imaging team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
Understands and operates IR equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure that quality images are produced.
Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff. Develops specific knowledge about invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging guidelines, obtaining necessary consents, maintaining applicable QC programs, and reporting any equipment failures or problems.
Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and address patient and/or family concerns.
Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
At the end of the procedure, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis.

The job of Maintenance Technician is a Very Heavy-Duty job. Very Heavy Duty involves exertion of more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds continuously to move objects.
Essential duties include but are not limited to stooping, climbing and crawling in and over machines for repair purposes and the ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds.
Must be comfortable working above the ground at times, and outside as necessary.
Candidates must have the ability to interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions.
A sense of urgency in terms of maximizing production and minimizing down time is necessary in this type of manufacturing environment.
Tasks performed involve work with equipment and materials that require familiarity with formal safety procedures and the following of these procedures in order to maintain the safety of the work environment.

Requires skill in use of computers and desktop software; reading and interpreting blue prints, plans, and sketches; interpreting manufacturers' instructions and schematics; ability to look up items from a code book, technical instructions, or manufacturer data and interpret them.

Work with the Network Operations Center for final acceptance and testing of all newly installed equipment and rings. Tests include validation of all provisioning, all alarm monitoring to the NMS (Network Management System), and network switch protection.
Work with fiber optic related test equipment including OTDR, OLTS, power meters, visual fault locator, etc.
Perform site survey of remote locations to ensure quality installation of all racks, fiber cable, etc. Report any and all defects to the fiber manager and /or OSP Field Engineers.
Label and tag all equipment and cabling according to Network Engineering Diagrams.
Perform advanced analysis and troubleshooting of problems / issues while assisting customer.
Participate in on-call rotation schedule for nights and weekends.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.
Perform both hardware and software updates and/or changes to remote site equipment as necessary.
Complete and maintain hard copy and/or electronic records of work completed on various assignments including, but not limited to, splice diagrams, patch panels, and test results.
