Job Summary
Serve as Lead Service Technician working in the Completion Services Department for land and offshore. Responsible for execution of tasks as assigned by the Lead Service Technician, Service Supervisor, Project Manager, or other Management. Is operationally qualified, verified, and authorized as required for specific tasks. May lead limited scope projects in the absence of a Lead Service Technician or Superior during a shift with prior approval from and/or under the direction of the Lead Service Technician or Superior. Specific job tasks would include but not be limited to Installation and/or retrieval of Permanent Gauge Systems, Control Line, TEC & Flatpack, Fiber Optics, Chemical Injection Systems, Gas Lift Mandrels & Valves. The Lead Service Technician will conduct all activities in an accountable, respectful, and professional manner at all times and fully support the completion of work in accordance with BlueFin quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Travel through United States and Gulf of Mexico; staying overnight for extended periods.

Learn all field services work and equipment in order to gain skills/knowledge.
Increase knowledge and participate in training on other product lines and services.
Participation and Compliance with BlueFin HSE and Quality Management System.
Comply with all company policies (Safety, quality, general, SOP's, etc).
Available 24-hour call (except for scheduled vacation).
Have reliable means of transportation to and from BlueFin office.
Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred 5-10 years of Completions experience.
Must hold or ability to obtain Certificates for Marine Trash & Debris, Huet, Water survival, Safe Land/Safe Gulf, Fall Protection, Incipient Fire and Rigging at a minimum.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.
Attends and successfully completes required technician training classes.
Maintains necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
Works in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways of improving the methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
Inspects components to insure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs. Completes required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment, and accounting for repair times.
Monitors job expenses versus repair estimates and ensures that the supervisor is aware of any cost over run, prior to the job being completed.
Approaches work in a positive manner, maintains conduct that is supportive of the work Team and sets the standard for others to follow. Contributes to Team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations. Trains and/or mentors others in department. Assumes Supervisors positon temporarily, as necessary.

Summary:

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on all equipment including, isolated heating and ventilating units, boilers, gas and electrically operated HVAC equipment, and make necessary adjustments, service and repairs
Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, high limit controls, pressure controls, safety valves, and automated gas valves.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welding, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade.
Maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition.
Maintain parts and tools inventory utilizing the properties computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and wiring systems as needed; connect motors to control panels.
