    Service technician job in Philadelphia, PA

    McCarter & English is seeking an Endpoint Technician. The primary function of this position is to provide support for all service requests that come to the Endpoint team via Tickets and assignments from Management. This position can be in the Wilmington or Philadelphia office. The position requires five days in office attendance (this is a requirement and non-negotiable). Specific Duties: ยท Responsible for managing and maintaining all Hardware equipment for McCarter: PCs, Laptops, Mobile devices, Video Conferencing equipment, HP LaserJet Printers and high-speed multifunction units. ยท Responsible for deploying new PCs and Laptops using Microsoft SCCM ยท Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining all HP LaserJet printers in a network environment for the firm ยท Provide laptop maintenance and support. Maintain all laptops with current virus definitions, windows and office updates ยท Responsible for managing and maintaining all Hardware equipment for McCarter: PCs, Laptops, Mobile devices, Video Conferencing equipment, HP LaserJet Printers and high-speed multifunction units. ยท Responsible for deploying new PCs and Laptops using Microsoft SCCM ยท Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining all HP LaserJet printers in a network environment for the firm ยท Provide laptop maintenance and support. Maintain all laptops with current virus definitions, windows and office updates Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: ยท Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills while supporting end users and other IT staff members. ยท Excellent troubleshooting skills required with general hardware/software issues. ยท Must be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint ยท Must have firsthand experience working with Windows 11 ยท Must have experience installing and supporting Windows 11 end points. ยท Must understand Networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols. ยท Experience with configuring and deploying Laptops, Desktops and HP LaserJet printers in a network environment. For PC and Laptops experience with Dell hardware preferred ยท Must have experience with installing and swapping out parts for PCs, Desktops, Laptops and Printers ยท Experience with Smart devices. ยท Experience with Video Conference equipment, i.e., Zoom & Microsoft Teams ยท Legal Experience preferred Education, Training and Experience Required: ยท At least 5 years of firsthand experience required in a professional environment as a full-time permanent Hardware / PC Technician or Sr. Level Helpdesk person supporting a large office configuration. ยท Must have experience supporting users in a remote settings using Citrix and/or VPN. ยท Some form of a technical education or diploma in Computer Technician or Computer Support from a certified school or institution is needed. ยท Experience with Microsoft Intune, Qualys, Microsoft Endpoint Gateway greatly desired ยท Certifications like A+ and Network+ are a plus Other Compensation: Eligibility for discretionary bonus.
