Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance and testing on equipment
Perform maintenance tasks to include repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment
Identify processing waste reduction opportunities and assist in reduction projects
Participate in preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations through PM optimization
Dismantle, clean, repair and test electrical, electronic and mechanical components to determine component-level failure

Recommend equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs

Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM's

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desired
Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Candidates must complete the Mechanical Aptitude Test before being considered
Prior experience with high-and low-pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred
Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs and SAP system preferred
Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
Must be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervision

Review returned kit and sub-kit inventory to ensure all items are accounted for as outlined in inventory system
Complete visual and functional inspection to ensure all are in working condition.
Clean, reorganize, and perform defined testing on all returned kits and sub-kits
Must be able to utilize tooling systems in order to record inspections, restock and where applicable assign kits to specific jobs
Track precision/specialty tool serial numbers for asset and certification tracking
Contact and schedule vendors to perform production maintenance or calibration
Review certification dates and track inbound and outbound shipments of specialty tools to vendors
Must be able to manage multiple complexities and prioritize work scope based on work direction/schedule

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Cleans and maintains shop and work area. Cleans and washes vehicles as needed.
Assists with the operation/repair/monitoring of the County fuel stations.
Available as needed to support personnel and vehicle/equipment repair needs during emergency conditions.
Instructs operators in proper care, operation, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
For all classifications, the technician is responsible for providing all necessary hand tools and basic power tools necessary to perform the work. Job Duties
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
* Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
* Maintain a service van and its inventory.
* Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
* Less than 2 years related experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
* Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
* Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
* Industry related training is preferred
* Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Fiber Splicer / Field Operations Technician to join our nationwide team. This full-time, travel-based role is critical to the deployment and maintenance of high-performance fiber optic networks across the country.
The ideal candidate will have practical, in-the-field experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting, and be comfortable working independently in dynamic environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, splice, and test single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables and connectors
Perform OTDR, power meter, and light source testing for end-to-end validation
Interpret fiber optic schematics, splice plans, and network diagrams
Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues efficiently in the field
Complete preventative maintenance and report potential infrastructure issues
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work performed
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to support deployments
Manage and maintain inventory of fiber optic tools, test gear, and consumables
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company and industry quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
Proven field experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing
Strong understanding of OTDRs, power meters, fusion splicers, and related equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexible schedule - must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed
Comfortable with extensive nationwide travel (3-4 weeks at a time)
