Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Technician with strong multi-craft abilities and an advanced electrical troubleshooting background to support a high-volume manufacturing facility that produces printed film, bags, and flexible packaging. This is a new position created to enhance the team's technical depth, reduce downtime, and strengthen the plant's troubleshooting capabilities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex electrical issues, working across a wide range of production and facility equipment, and contributing to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Electrical Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on:
Flexographic presses (Comexi, Uteco, W&H, Bobst)
Laminators, slitters, pouch machines, and bag-making equipment
Work with facility systems including:
Chillers, compressors, transformers, oxidizers, and distillation equipment
Perform safe, accurate work inside electrical panels using proper procedures.
Assist with troubleshooting PLC/HMI-related issues (board swaps, sensor troubleshooting; no programming required).
Mechanical & Multi-Craft Maintenance
Support and repair facility and production systems (e.g., floor scrubbers, support equipment).
Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, manuals, and equipment documentation.
Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance through the NET Facilities system (monthly, weekly, quarterly, annual PMs).
Collaborate with a team of maintenance techs and a maintenance manager to ensure efficient operations and minimized downtime.
Experience & Skills Required Technical Skills
Strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities with experience diagnosing complex issues.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and equipment manuals.
Familiarity with PLC interfaces, sensors, and HMIs for diagnostic purposes.
Experience working on large industrial manufacturing equipment-preferably in flexible packaging, printing, plastics, or converting industries.

Electrical maintenance experience in a plant environment with a variety of equipment
Multi-craft skill set including mechanical aptitude.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Test over current/voltage, Directional, Distance, Impedance, Sync Check, Loss of field, reverse power, Multifunction relays etc.
Perform function testing of substation control circuits on relay panels, transformers & circuit breaker controls. Perform isolation, setpoint testing, advanced logic testing, and scheme testing (reclosing, breaker failure, etc.)
Perform end-to-end relay testing using Doble Protection Suite, RTS, or Test Universe software to verify communication assisted protection schemes.
Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment, relaying schemes, DFR equipment, SCADA systems, distribution automation systems and associated communication equipment
Assist in developing written standard commissioning, testing and maintenance procedures for protective relaying, DFR's, RTU's, IED's, Distribution Automation and associated communication systems.
Generate customer report describing the problem found and correction action taken / proposed.
Maintain a professional attitude when representing the company during phone or personal contact with outside vendors, customers or service providers etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of field experience in commissioning, panel and equipment checkout, relay calibration, testing and repairing substation relaying and control schemes
Experience is desirable in any of the following related areas: Substation commissioning; SCADA/Fault Data/SER/Integration-Automation equipment installation and testing
Have a good understanding of various protocols (DNP3, Modbus, 8979, etc.). Have the ability to troubleshoot SCADA issues using various protocol test sets (Wireshark, ASE 2000, etc.)
Experience in three phase power systems, power system protection, and control schemes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Valid Driver's license and good driving record

Your Future Role:
As a Contractor Services teammate at our Minden Farm location, you will be providing service to contractor customers on site, loading material, using point-of-sale to complete transactions, participating in the unloading and receiving shipments, providing feedback on product selection, helping to open and close the business each day, operating machinery, and maintaining/securing the property among other things. Together with our retail and growing teams our objective is to grow this business segment by ensuring we maintain quality plant material, replicate our existing customer service processes and develop a proactive sales strategy to add new customers. This position will report to the Contractor Services Manager of Heybourne Road in Minden.
To succeed in this role, a candidate will be punctual and reliable. They must be able to operate the machinery onsite and do so with the utmost safety and care for the equipment. An ideal candidate will also be eager to assist our contractor customers in a pleasant manner, learn our point-of-sale program, unload the material, and proactively identify tasks around the property in order to maintain a clean, organized, safe, and presentable material yard.
The ability to speak in Spanish is highly desired but is not required for this role. Some experience with landscape plants and the willingness to learn more is important.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Ensure resort is always clean and inviting, and that it adheres to the company's curb appeal standards
Ensure trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas, sites and streets. Empty common area trash more often if needed
Repair pedestal's, some plumbing and electric work when needed
Complete minor repairs to utility systems and streets as needed
Inspect irrigation systems on a regular basis to ensure it is operating properly; repair as needed
Inspect playground area and equipment to ensure they are in good condition, repair as needed
Maintain grounds and landscaping to resort standards (mowing and weeding as needed)
Maintain vacant sites to resort standards
Ensure all streets and public access routes are free of hazards
Maintain resort vehicles and equipment
Perform duties in a safe manner, adhering to all safety procedures and properly using safety equipment
Operate heavy equipment
Serves rule notices and coordinate with homeowners and guests
Help clean public restrooms in bathhouse.
Assist guest to sites when needed and hookup if necessary
Assist with snow removal

Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Valid Driver's License and good driving record
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance
Landscape and irrigation knowledge (install/repair valves, timers. Heads lines)
Demonstrate knowledge of broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
Proficient skills in operating hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery
Ability to provide legible written reports
Ability to work independently as well as a team
Availability to respond to community needs during non-business hours

What You Can Expect:
Repair, calibrate and maintain dialysis equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
Know and follow AAMI standards for water safety and reprocessing
Provide routine maintenance and repair of water systems
Document repairs and maintenance according to DCI and clinic policy
Test and document air quality, taking appropriate action when necessary
Maintain inventory functions as assigned
Know and follow proper usage, storage and disposal procedures for hazardous chemicals and medical waste
Strictly observe infection control procedures
Complete minor building maintenance
Coordinate necessary facility repairs with nurse manager, AOD and vendors
Participate in quality improvement activities and risk management programs
Qualifications
Successful Candidates Bring:

Education/Training:
