The day-to-day:

Position Overview
This is a remote field-based position requiring daily travel to customer locations within your assigned territory. A company vehicle is provided, and while the position primarily involves day travel, approximately 5% overnight travel may be required.

Core Responsibilities
* Provide both remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems in healthcare facilities, including DHA/DoD facilities
* Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize work orders; diagnose and resolve hardware and software system issues
* Maintain ownership of work orders, escalating complex issues to team leadership when necessary
* Implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment
* Support Sales and Implementation teams as needed
* Perform installations, in-servicing, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and sales support
* Maintain accurate small parts inventory and follow inventory control procedures
* Provide detailed documentation of field activities, expenses, and time distribution
* Participate in ongoing training to advance product knowledge and technical skills

Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma
* 3-5 years of combined Hardware/Software/IT experience supporting both proprietary and standard applications
* Experience with 24x7 on-call support in a customer-facing/field service environment
* Strong mechanical, computer, verbal, written, and time management skills
* Proficiency with computer electronics, Windows OS, and networking
* Valid driver's license that meets BD's auto safety standards

Summary
Under direct supervision of the Service Manager, the Field ServiceTechnician will perform new equipment installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of BLM equipment at the customer site. Facilitates timely resolutions to customer issues and/or questions while maintaining a positive client relationship.

• Supports the sales staff in servicing BLM equipment
• Installs new equipment at customer sites

• Carefully and accurately documents all service performed on the equipment as well as what service needs are to be accomplished on the equipment in the future
• Maintains excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate applicable BLM GROUP software capabilities to the customer
• Prepares timesheets, service reports and installation forms, timely and accurately
• Accurately track expenses and completes expense reports in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe work environment and operate within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines

Qualifications
