Job Summary
Our Dock & Door Technicians a.k.a. “Service Professionals” are the core of our preventative and emergency response services for our customers. You may call them a “technician”, but the role is more than using tools to fix broken items. Service Professionals are on the road, troubleshooting complex issues in places like commercial buildings, aircraft hangers, schools, fire/police departments, and much more. A Service Professional might spend an hour fixing a broken door for a hospital garage and an hour later they could be heading to a large warehouse to fix loading dock equipment. Apprentice Level (Level I) - best for candidates who have a passion for learning and a willingness to train. Experience working in any related field is a plus, but most importantly an understanding of mechanics and the ability to fix a variety of products is needed.
Service Professional Level (Level II) - this is the sweet spot for anyone who has at least a year of experience in a related field and knowledge of the basic concepts of electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting. Service professionals are well attuned to customers and can communicate effectively while in the field.
Senior Level (Level III) - possesses experience in basic repairs in the AED, Highspeed, or gate fields with a proficient understanding of hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting. Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience in this field.
Expert Level (Level IV) - are the masters of their craft, skilled in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting with a mechanical mindset, leadership skills and extensive knowledge in dock leveler and door repairs. Candidates will possess at least 8 years of experience.

The primary responsibilities of the fiber splicer will be to splice/test fiber optic cables aerial and underground in both outside (OSP) and inside (ISP) settings. Read, create, and maintain splicing schematics, and diagrams, and create/maintain accurate splicing and field notes. * Able to construct proper splice cases including but not limited to grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage, and sealing.
* Able to perform work in accordance with TIA and RUS standards, as well as customer specific standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Ability to Service Wide Range of HVAC Equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose all sizes of Package unit, split systems, Minisplit/VRF, Water source heat-pump, Computer room System, water heater/boilers, etc.
Skilled ability to Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
Service Repair or Replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
Discuss heating-cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected.
Must Complete Logs and reports on all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended for Each Service Call on provide electronic device before leaving site.
Position will Included, an active role in Team Efforts, supporting and Training others, dedication in maintaining customers Satisfaction. Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures.
Also Assist with other repairs and maintenances on Pumps, Chillers, Cooling tower, and controls with other team members. Assists May all so include Retrofit/replacement install of Refrigerant piping, low voltage Controls, and minor electrical.
Obtain and maintain required certifications.
Ability to Frequently lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
MUST HAVE Good driving record and possess a Valid Driver License and EPA License

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside.
