The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment that are critical for the production and storage of meat products. This role ensures that all refrigeration systems operate efficiently, meet safety standards, and comply with regulatory requirements, contributing to the overall success of the production process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Installs, and maintains new and/or existing boilers & refrigeration equipment while following applicable safety and sanitation guidelines. Main Purpose: The Electrical Maintenance Technician specializes in Hydrant Fuels Automation Maintenance (HFAM), is responsible for the electrical and automation systems that control government hydrant fuels operations, and has the ability to troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in a highly safety-conscious environment. This role requires travel to various government sites across the United States as required by project or operational needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results Qualifications Qualifications: Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic Capable of flagging 50+ Hours consistently ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles Meet or exceed hourly goals Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes Professional appearance and strong communication A desire for long-term career development Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools Walk/stand for the majority of their workday Drive manual transmissions vehicles Efficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
