The Biology Student Laboratory Teaching Assistant (TA2) assists the instructor & Laboratory Coordinator with preparation & operation of laboratory classes whether in-person or virtual. The TA2 may provide instruction during the laboratory. The TA2 may be called upon to assist with grading of laboratory assignments/quizzes and other clerical work related to the laboratory class experience. TA2 applicants must have taken and passed the course they would TA for with a grade “B” or higher. The instructor is the direct supervisor, and makes the final hire decision.
