About the Role:
Join us to keep a high-performing plant safe and running! You'll champion LOTO and safe practices, pull equipment for service when needed, perform preventive maintenance, and secure parts to cut downtime. You'll communicate across shifts, log issues, keep an organized shop, and respond to safety warnings. Punctuality and flexibility for overtime/occasional shift coverage required-stay engaged in safety meetings and pitch in on other projects.
Responsibilities
Champion safe work every day-follow and coach lockout/tagout (LOTO).
Spot issues early and decide when to pull equipment for repair to minimize downtime.
Perform scheduled and on-demand preventive maintenance to keep lines running.
Requisition and track parts and materials, so teams have what they need.
Act quickly on safety warnings and signals; take corrective action.
Keep operations connected by communicating across shifts and documenting in Maintenance and Production logbooks.
Maintain a clean, organized maintenance area; store tools and supplies before breaks and at shift end.
Be dependable: arrive on time, work required hours including mandatory overtime and occasionally cover other shifts.
Stay current on plant and safety updates; participate in meetings and trainings.
Pitch in on other duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience working with a variety of mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
PLC experience is required.
Automated technician experience required.

Role Description

What you'll do:
Become familiar with and be the main point of contact for Equipment Asset Management.
Maintain regular inventory management control of the facility equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and root cause analysis on all facilities equipment, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, building HVAC, air compressors, electrical, fire alarm/suppression, fire extinguishers, and eyewash stations.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new and retrofit facilities & manufacturing equipment. Fabricate, assemble and install facility utilities for equipment, as needed.
Become proficient with our Computerized Maintenance Management System, Maintain X to use it to perform tasks to complete work requests, develop & track facilities equipment preventative maintenance schedules, and record & process findings of maintenance duties.
Become proficient using our Building Automation System software to monitor all factory electrical & mechanical utility controls systems connected to it and diagnose & repair faults with facility equipment.
What you'll bring:
An electrical journeyman's license or master electrician with 5+ years of experience or equivalent. NFPA 70E trained.
An electrical controls & calibration background with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
HVAC technician certification.
Refrigeration license EPA 608 certification.
Boilermaker qualifications with 5+ years of experience through apprenticeship. NCCER certification is a plus.
Water Operator West Virginia or another state license, Class 1 or above.
Certified SMAW 6G certified pipe welder with 5+ years of experience.
Steamfitter or pipefitter journeyman level 5+ years of experience through apprenticeship.
5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with a focus in facilities maintenance and troubleshooting with equipment, fabrication, installation of building systems utilities and great customer service.

JOB SUMMARY: Repairs, maintains and changes the various types of locks, safe combinations, and keys found in the Kanawha County School system.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties may be assigned.
* Maintains in good working condition all locks (approximately 24,000) within the school system.
* Cuts keys of all types.
* Repairs broken locks and master key cylinders.
* Respond to emergency situations, wherein a broken lock prevents proper security within a building or school facility.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent, pursuant to WV Code §18A-2-5; Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c; Meet the definition of "Qualifications" in WV Code §18A-4-8b; demonstrated competency, pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-8e (state-approved competency test) as required. 18 months experience from an approved apprenticeship or related training program. Individual should also have three to five years' work experience in the locksmith trade. Master locksmith license preferred. Should be bonded by West Virginia in locksmith trade. Individual must be able to drive a truck, must also be able to operate a key machine, grinder, drill, and drill press, etc. Individual must also maintain this equipment.

Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and procedures (ie timesheet, truck report, expense report) Responsible for assigned company vehicle, tools, materials and equipment Perform work in a safe manner and comply with all established company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in order to help team complete a project Required Education and Experience Minimum of 2 years' experience splicing all types of fiber optic cables High school diploma or GED Experience working in a bucket truck at heights in excess of 30-40 ft.
