Budget of Wichita is looking to add a full-time shop technician to do oil changes, tire changes/repairs, vehicle inspections, and other duties. This is a light duty position servicing our rental vehicles as they are up for maintenance or require service.
Schedule is days, Monday-Friday.

Your challenges:
* Management of the repair solution from customer's submittal through final approval (RDAF) issuance while maintaining customer expectations for delivery.
* Analyze customer queries related to structural damages against the Airbus Structural Repair Manual (SRM), if beyond limits manage the repair for efficient treatment by the relevant engineering design office.
* Maintain a strong interaction with the Repair Solutions team across all global regions to support the customer 24/7.
* Liaise with Design Offices to ensure requested repair definitions and justifications are provided on time with the required level of quality and related reviews.
* Collaborate and liaise closely with Airbus Spares/Satair/spares focal to ensure that all repair solutions take into account the availability of parts for each repair.
* Initiate updating of structure repair documentation with the SRM (Structural Repair manual) organization when shortcomings are observed.
* Ensure transfer of in-service experience and maintenance activities to management, to other divisions of Customer Services and Airbus design organization including vendors.
* Use of specialized TechRequest tool (SAP based program) to keep records of technical queries, answers and exchanges with all involved parties.
* Liaise with Airbus Field Service community if required to ensure alignment on sensitive topics, utilizing management as required.
* Attend periodic meetings which may include escalate through Daily Operations Meeting for spares escalation.
* Identify and follow up on damages related to potential safety critical items.
* Collaborate with Airbus Technical AOG Center (AIRTAC) or Major Incident Repairs team if repairs escalate to this level of complexity, ensuring a smooth transition.
* Collaborate across cultures, languages and time zones with a diverse customer base (both airlines and MRO's) and Airbus teams is a key aspect to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Your boarding pass:
* Bachelor Science/Engineering (BSc/BEng) degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field in lieu of degree.
* 3+ years Engineering experience in an airline/OEM/MRO environment preferred, with knowledge of aircraft structure (design, fatigue, materials…) and structural repairs, or mechanical.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, technical documentation / manuals (SRM, SB, IPC…)
* Knowledge of maintenance repair practices, equipment and ways of working.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to team and business partners worldwide including ability to discuss at working level within Airbus to customers in case of reporting / escalation / etc.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Troubleshoot system failures and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
Work with residential, commercial, and government/federal clients to address HVAC needs.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and OSHA standards.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Complete detailed service reports and documentation for each job.
Collaborate with other technicians, plumbers, and electricians as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an HVAC technician in residential and/or commercial settings.
Master Mechanical License preferred but not required.
Proficiency in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
EPA Certification, OSHA, and Manufacturer Training (preferred).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and handle exposure to hot and cold conditions.
Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
Valid driver's license required for company vehicle use.

Performance Facilities and Technical Director/Manager

The Southwestern College Performing Arts Facility was redesigned in 2011 with updated lighting and sound equipment. This facility is used for local, regional, and national speaking and performance events. The Performing Arts Division vision statement guides the faculty and staff in the curricular and co-curricular offerings. The Division of Performing Arts nurtures intellectual development, aesthetic sensibility, and creativity through stimulating classroom and performance experiences to prepare students as professionals and advocates who cultivate the arts.
Position serves under the direction of the Southwestern College Director of Theatre and coordinates events with the Southwestern College Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the Richardson Performing Arts Center, Messenger Recital Hall, and the Helen Graham Little Theatre. Including but not limited to: physical space oversight, equipment management, and maintenance for both in-house and external (community) activities scheduled in these areas.
* At the discretion of the Director of Theatre, oversee the general upkeep and maintenance of the Tomari Technical Center as needed per production. This may include oversight of scenery and properties for theatre performances, maintaining a usable, working inventory of props, scenery, tools and the equipment storage space in Tomari, as well as a running inventory of available building materials including lumber, hardware, paint, etc.
* Oversee compliance with safety standards and policies of anyone using the performance spaces. Assist with training of student personnel on safety practices and procedures and use of shop equipment.
* Maintain compliance with federal and school policies regarding schedule and time in performance spaces.
* At the discretion of the Director of Theatre, mentor and assist student workers assigned to Tomari Technical Center, and students assigned to sound, lighting, props, and scenery technical positions and/or work.
* Establish and maintain regular, published office and shop hours, and communicate with the Director of Theatre when published hours need to be adjusted due to performance schedules.
* Assist the Director of Theatre in departmental productions with the following:
* Development and construction of scenery and props
* Development of and hanging and focusing light plot.
* Preparation, distribution, and maintenance of sound requirements.
* Assist the Director of Theatre as support staff during tech week and public performances.
* Assist the Director of Theatre with planning and execution of tour show demands.
* Assist with transport, load-in and load-out of scenery, costumes, and equipment needed to be moved from the Tomari Technical Center to on-campus performance spaces and touring shows.
Qualifications
* A commitment to performance excellence.
* A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent technical theatre-related professional experience is required.
* Experience in performance facilities management.
* Experience in technical theatre with specialization in lighting, sound, costumes, and properties for the stage.
* A commitment to the work ethic that is needed for high-quality productions. This includes the ability to thrive in high-pressure and time-sensitive theater production environments and to embrace the workload of a production season that necessitates flexible hours- evenings and weekends.
* Strong commitment to collegiality and the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and staff from diverse backgrounds and facility needs.
Compensation and Benefits
* The Technical Director position is a full-time (forty hours per week) position based on a $20 hourly wage. (Approximately $41,600 per year)
* This position is a "non-exempt" position. When deemed necessary, due to facility demands and approved by the Director of Theatre, the TD will be eligible for overtime compensation.
* This position is eligible for full-paid Health Benefits.
