The Field Service Representative I position will be the direct implementation of customer required on-site field services related to CCC activated carbon product, equipment, and service offerings. The Field Service Representative I will be apart of CCC's customer support and service value proposition by contractual obligation.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
Scheduling and documentation of daily on-site activities using FSWO database and work process
Carbon adsorption equipment start-up and customer training on proper use through O&M manual and work process
Carbon and other media removal and installation
Carbon adsorption equipment installation and removal
Carbon adsorption equipment maintenance, inspection repair and troubleshooting
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Confined Space Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data) is required
Driver's License (Class A preferrable) is preferred
HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data) is required
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (Candidate must successfully obtain within 3 month of hire data) is required
2-3 years' experience in the carbon treatment industry or related/similar fields is required
Two years working in industry is preferred

Job Description

What you'll do as an Equipment Service Technician:
* Perform fundamental troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of STERIS and competitor equipment, systems and components.
* Manage time effectively by prioritizing Customer and business needs and schedules autonomously to complete PM performance, service calls, warranty calls, equipment installations, field upgrade programs and other duties.
* Work with cross functional teams (Tech Support, Engineering and Service Contract Management), to escalate issues appropriately and utilizes advanced technology platforms to complete compliance regulatory requirements, and resolve and document troubleshooting issues.
* The Technician will provide Customers with information, pricing and repair options. With management support, build relationships with Sales to drive Customer experience and revenue opportunities. Learn to identify sales opportunities in assigned territory.
* Provide support to various locations within assigned territory depending on the service agreements and Customer needs.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Required:
* High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of work experience, with 2 of those years in a mechanical/technical role. Associates degree or related certifications in technical/mechanical area, competitive equipment training or related military experience may be considered towards technical experience requirement.
* Valid driver's license and the ability meet all required background and physical assessment elements to obtain and maintain existing and new vendor credentialing requirements.
* Customer and team engagement experience.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic computer skills (MS windows/email, navigation, mobile app, and ability to data input into multi systems).
* Must be able to meet flexible schedules with potential overnights, as well as early/late hours, based on Customer and business needs.

Cable Services Company, headquartered in Williamsport, PA, performs construction and cable installation projects within a five to six state area in the Northeast region of the US. Project hours vary by project and can be influenced by weather. Frequent overnight travel is required along with overtime in order to meet project related deadlines.

A Fiber Splicer will perform cable splicing in the air, underground, indoors and outdoors. In addition this position requires frequent travel in which the employee would be away from home. This position requires overnight work during consumer non-peak usage hours (Midnight to 7am) along with shared weekend on-call status for emergency restoration.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Ability to distinguish between colors
Experience reading design maps, fiber schematics and basic electronic designs
Must possess exceptional organizational skills and be detailed oriented
Must be able to occasionally move materials/equipment weighing up to 80 pounds
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision

**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
Prepare, sterilize, install, or clean laboratory or healthcare equipment. May perform routine laboratory tasks and operate or inspect equipment.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**
**Individual must provide evidence of one of the following:**
+ Holds and maintains either the Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential.
+ Previously employed or contracted for services as a central service technician by the hiring Penn State Health (PSH) health care facility on or before December 29, 2020, or had been employed to practice as a central service technician as the primary function at another healthcare facility at any time prior to December 29, 2020
or:
+ New employees who do not meet one of the requirements above have 18 months to obtain the Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential in order to maintain employment.

A Day in the Life of a Forklift Technician:
The Forklift Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements.

What you will be doing:
Drive to customer sites to perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, including checking and replacing fluids, inspecting brakes, and ensuring all parts are in good working condition.
Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues through diagnostic testing and visual inspection. Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems to ensure equipment functionality.
Ensure all equipment is safe to operate by conducting regular safety inspections and adhering to industry safety standards and regulations. Address any safety concerns immediately.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, time spent, and any safety inspections conducted. Update maintenance logs to ensure all equipment history is tracked.
Work closely with customers and operations teams to understand equipment needs and prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks. Communicate effectively to minimize disruption to operations.
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and maintain operational flow. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures under time-sensitive conditions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology, tools, and best practices related to forklift maintenance and repair. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
What you will need:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in forklift repair and maintenance or a similar field involving mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with different types of forklifts (electric, propane, diesel) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in forklifts. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment, work in various positions (standing, kneeling, crouching), and operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions and updates to customers and management regarding equipment status and repairs.
