    SCOPE OF ROLE: The Support Services functions at S:US are carried out by a team of professionals with differing backgrounds who share deeply in the S:US mission. As an Incident Management Specialist, you will be joining a dynamic department that protects the organization as well as the people we serve. Specifically, your role will be to ensure that all incidents are reported in compliance with regulatory requirements, and that all incident management activities are completed accurately and timely. You will also protect the health and safety of the individuals we serve by ensuring protective measures are put into place to prevent the reoccurrence of incidents. This is a position that requires cross departmental communication and the ability to operate and communicate in a fast-paced environment. The incident management specialist will abide by incident management regulations for a variety of regulatory agencies in order to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local Laws. You will also ensure adherence to the S:US mission, core values, and code of ethics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Incident Management Activities Serves as the primary QA contact person for all program staff and external oversight bodies with regard to incident management reporting and processes. Responsible to interpret and apply incident management regulations, and to provide technical support to staff regarding incident management regulations. Triages reports of all incidents to ensure all protective measures are in place for consumer safety, including attending daily triage meetings. Reviews all notifications, preliminary investigations, occurrence reports, and other supporting documentation, and follows-up with program staff on missing pertinent information to ensure compliance with regulations. Serves as the Quality Assurance co-chair in monthly Incident Review Committee (IRC) meetings. Complete minutes/follow-ups for IRC meetings, and submits to program management and appropriate staff. Reviews all incidents to ensure all IRC minutes and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner and submitted to the IRC for review. Trainings Conduct Incident Management trainings for all staff levels. Help to develop and update training materials for Incident Management trainings. Reporting/Data Analysis Maintain incident management reporting logs with data to support incident trends. Responsible for the management of data (including the submission of corrective action plans) in required state computerized incident management systems (e.g., IRMA and NIMRS). Draft monthly incident trend reports, analyzing any trends pertaining to consumer incidents, and requesting appropriate corrective actions. Conduct post incident analysis and ensure accurate root cause of incidents is captured and appropriate preventive actions are identified and tracked. Communication/Networking Provide incident updates to stakeholders and leadership as required (in verbal and/or written form). Request additional information from external sources in order to thoroughly review incidents. Provide required notification and updates on all incidents within established department heads. Coordinate with program leadership and HR to ensure swift resolution on incidents. Maintain open communication with your supervisor as it relates to the completion and accuracy of assignments. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree required in related field, together with minimum of two (2) years of experience in the healthcare or non-profit field. Must be willing to: Travel extensively in all of the boroughs Work a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the department. Be on call during non-office hours, evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Master's Degree preferred. Incident Management experience preferred. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the healthcare or non-profit field. The Real Estate team who is tasked with maintaining and expanding S:US' large and diverse Real Estate portfolio is seeking a Director of Facilities & Central Maintenance to join our growing team! Our goal is to fulfill S:US' commitment to reduce homelessness and provide a life of purpose by ensuring all of our residents have a safe, clean, affordable place to call home and all our staff have the right work environment to carry out the mission. The Director of Maintenance will be responsible for the effective and efficient maintenance and physical safety of more than 150 residential buildings, offices and clinics across the four boroughs. On-call availability outside of regular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to address facility issues as they arise. The selected candidate will report directly to VP of Facilities & Leasing while leading a diverse team of maintenance professionals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the operations of the Facility Maintenance Department to ensure efficiency in meeting the ongoing maintenance requirements of all S:US' facilities, to include: Administration of the Yardi work order system. Effective deployment of S:US' internal maintenance staff. Efficient use of the vehicle fleet for business needs only. Prudent and controlled use of vendor services. Manage and control purchases made by the facilities department, within budget. Engage the team in continuous learning and regulatory compliance. Adhere to annual budget targets. Oversee the daily upkeep of agency facilities by on-site staff, to include: Physical plant. Mechanical operations. Property maintenance including housekeeping standards. Landscape and external appearance. Ensure the maintenance team is trained for their assignments and has an appropriate mix of skills. Submit staff performance evaluations on a timely basis. Proactively monitor staff time and attendance. Continually stress health and safety standards to be adhered to by maintenance team. Monitor accidents and injuries patterns and put in place mitigation steps to prevent occurrences. Establish a proactive preventive building maintenance plan for all S:US facilities. Particular focus must be given to integrity of building infrastructure and major plant. (Roofs, egress routes, safety systems, boilers and AC units). Ensure coverage for potential agency emergencies, 24 hours, 7 days a week, including the congregate facilities and scattered site apartments. Participate in and lead renovation projects for existing buildings. Develop scope of work for renovation projects requiring outside vendors. Ensure that projects meet city and state building codes. Ensure that construction materials and equipment comply with S:US' operational specifications. Ensure projects are tracked to be completed on time and on budget. Where variances exist, signal them to Executive Management at a very early stage. Monitor fire safety equipment to ensure operation and compliance: fire panels, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, sprinkler systems, fire pumps. Internal Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with the maintenance and program service departments on the day-to-day operations of S:US' large and diverse portfolio. (S:US) is a dynamic social service and housing agency with 46 years of experience in providing housing and services to the most vulnerable in New York City. The Real Estate team at S:US is tasked with maintaining and expanding S:US' large and diverse Real Estate portfolio. Our team's goal is to fulfill S:US' commitment to reducing long-term homelessness by 90% and to enable all our residents to have a safe, clean, affordable place to call home, and all our staff have the right work environment to carry out the mission. This is an exciting time at S:US as we recently announced a goal to create 20,000 affordable and supportive housing units in the next 10 years. S:US has opened our 2 largest buildings in 2025 with a total of 775 units of housing in 2025, roughly 50% affordable and 50% supportive. S:US has an additional 460 units in construction and another 2000 in predevelopment. S:US is among the two largest providers of supportive housing in New York State, and among the largest nationally. The Director of Housing Preservation and Asset Management (DPAM) will have the expertise and expertise in the preservation of existing affordable housing and real estate project management and construction administration to supervise and lead in multifamily rehabilitation projects ($25,000-$10 million per building) including Portfolio refinancings and rehabilitations, Year 15 investor exit projects, Local Law 11 Facade work, elevator modernizations, boiler replacements and the like. The range of duties will include negotiation with government agencies (HPD, HCR, HDC, DOB), collecting due diligence items, preparing financial pro forma capital and operating budgets, capital repair scoping, bidding, consultant procurement, site walkthroughs, construction management, preparing and reviewing requisitions, and tracking budgets. The projects will include buildings owned solely by S:US and those owned jointly and with various for-profit partners. The role will supervise the Preservation Project Manager and will report to the SVP of Real Estate. The DPAM will work closely with the Director of Housing Development, Director of Sustainability, the LP Finance Group and the VP for Facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of the project manager. Research and identify funding sources. Complete financial underwriting. Complete financing applications for HPD, HCR, HFA, others. Coordinate and lead design meetings with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors prior to closings and during construction. Coordinate the submission of due diligence to government agencies, lenders and investors. Lead preservation loan closings and Year 15 investor exits. Manage projects during construction ensuring they are on time and within budget, including process requisitions, conduct site visits, manage the construction project team.
