    **Job Title** HVAC Building Engineer The HVAC Technician is responsible for the proper Operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment. This includes but is not limited to: chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillary support equipment, water treatment, controls and BMS/EMS. **Job Description** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modify this position description from time to time to meet the needs of the site and/or building(s) + Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems. + Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action. + Respond to all HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the operational and comfort needs of the building(s) occupants, where applicable. + Be proficient ¡n the functionality of the BMS/EMS and understand the sequences required for proper building, equipment and system operations. + Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems. + Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs. + Maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenance program. + Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs. + Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule. + Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. + Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site specific equipment and systems.\ + Ability to work in a team or with minimal supervision + Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends + QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience): + Minimum of two to five years in a commercial building with field experience in performing preventive maintenance. + Must be licenses in EPA Universal and Freon reclaim and OSHA certification. + Education or training in HVAC, and controls.
