Customer Service Manager Job Summary
The customer service manager is responsible for managing Production Technicians and monitoring their performance while still providing excellent service to the customer. In this role, you will schedule Production Technicians, resolve emergency issues, provide training for new employees, and handle service issues beyond Production Technicians capability. You will also be required to meet all customer and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Priority Responder SERVPRO of NW PortlandFull-Time | On-Call Rotation Required
About the Role
Our Priority Responders are the first line of help when a home or business experiences water, fire, or other property damage. This is a people-first position: youll be the steady voice and calm presence for customers dealing with stressful emergencies. Your job is to show up with empathy, assess the situation quickly, and guide the customer through the first steps of the restoration process.

Key Responsibilities
Emergency Response
Respond immediately to emergency losses, both during normal business hours and while on-call.
Arrive on site quickly, assess damage, gather critical loss information, and determine next steps.
Communicate clearly with customers, property managers, adjusters, plumbers, and other referral partners.
Take initial photos, moisture readings, and document conditions for the Mitigation Team.
Customer Care
Show professionalism, empathy, and confidence during high-stress situations.
Help customers understand the restoration process and what to expect next.
Provide reassurance, problem-solving, and support from the first phone call through handoff to the production team.
Sales & Relationship Building
Build trust and rapport with customers, plumbers, agencies, and other partners.
Identify potential job opportunities and ensure complete onboarding of new losses.
Represent SERVPRO positively in the field and at partner locations.
Operational Duties
Complete digital documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and response-ready vehicle and equipment.
Coordinate with dispatch, the mitigation team, and management to ensure seamless job handoff.
Participate in weekly meetings, field training, and ongoing skills development.
Schedule & On-Call Requirements
Standard workweek with scheduled shifts.
Rotating on-call duties (evenings, weekends, and some holidays).
Must be able to respond to emergency losses within the required response window.
Flexibility and reliability are essentialcustomers depend on our rapid response.
What Were Looking For
Strong empathy, communication, and customer-service mindset.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions quickly.
Comfortable working in homes, commercial buildings, and occasionally in challenging environments (attics, crawlspaces, etc.).
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
Prior restoration, construction, or emergency response experience is a plus but not requiredtraining provided.
