Candidates must have successfully completed the selection process for the maintenance technician and pass the skill assessment for their field. Responsibility / Authority Maintenance Technicians have the responsibility to: Accept a variety of task assignments in the maintenance area in both the Float and OE Fabrication facilities. Accept production assignments when necessary to meet business needs. Identify, record and communicate any problems relating to the product or process. Abide by all Federal, State, and Local requirements related to generating and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material. Perform mechanical or electrical maintenance as required to maintain the operation. 2. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. 3. Work on projects as scheduled or required to maintain the operation. 4. Required to assist in training others. 5. Participate in all audits: STOP Audits, GO Audits, internal audit, cross facility, management and third party registration audits. (These are not an all inclusive list, but represent common examples). 6. Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards and responsible for clean up of work areas upon completion of tasks. 7.
