Mounts align and secures tooling, attachments, and the workpiece (s) on the machine.
Calculates and sets machine controls to position the spindle in relationship to the workpiece and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, feed, speed, and coolant flow.
Performs first piece, in-process inspection on work produced, and enters offset adjustments to machine controls to correct out-of-tolerance dimensions.
Discusses part program issues with supervisor or programmer to resolve deficiencies.
Cleans machine (s), tooling, and product produced.
Responsible for the re-sharpening of tooling used on production equipment.
Qualifications for a Machine Operator/Setup I:
High school diploma or the equivalent of 5 or more years of applicable work experience.
1-3 years of CNC experience preferred.
Working knowledge with tight tolerances
Basic understanding of computers.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints preferred.
Basic knowledge of inspection tools and ability to perform inspection of parts.

* Mechanically troubleshoot, repair and maintain all types of industrial machinery, equipment and systems.
* Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, and repair automated machines, process systems, and robotic systems to ensure they are working properly and safely.

Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided
Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.

This hands-on role supports the operation and upkeep of our unique manufacturing equipment. If you have a mechanical aptitude-especially from automotive or hands-on repair experience-and are eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills and advance toward roles like Associate Manufacturing Engineer.
We offer on-the-job training and development for our one-of-a-kind machines.
Role Responsibilities
Mechanic I
Run assigned machines to meet daily production quotas.
Maintain proper machine settings and troubleshoot minor issues.
Make basic repairs to auto-pack units and mechanical components.
Clean machines and maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
Accurately record daily production numbers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Mechanic II (Advanced Level)
Run more machines consistently (3-4 in Nails & Staples; full Wire Draw sections at 2:1 ratio).
Troubleshoot and repair with limited supervision.
Support broader production areas and mentor junior mechanics.
Qualifications
Mechanic I
High school diploma or GED preferred.
1-3 years of mechanical experience preferred (automotive, equipment repair, etc.).
Willingness to work well with others and learn new systems.
Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is a plus.
Mechanic II
1-5 years of mechanical experience preferred.
Six months or more of Mechanic I experience (internal or external).
Experience with SENCO machines preferred but not required.
Requirements
Ability to work with various machines, hand tools, and equipment 100% of the time.
Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions proficiently.
Must be able to obtain a material handling vehicle license.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, stoop, and carry up to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment with exposure to noise, dirt, and fumes.
Must follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibility / Authority
Maintenance Technicians have the responsibility to:

The maintenance technician performs a wide variety of tasks related to the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the operation.
Duties
1. Perform mechanical or electrical maintenance as required to maintain the operation.
2. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
3. Work on projects as scheduled or required to maintain the operation.
4. Required to assist in training others.
5. Participate in all audits: STOP Audits, GO Audits, internal audit, cross facility, management and third party registration audits. (These are not an all inclusive list, but represent common examples).
6. Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards and responsible for clean up of work areas upon completion of tasks.
7. Ensure maintenance work meets required standards
8. Participate in required training and successfully complete required assessments or testing to verify understanding and knowledge
9. Required to work in a safe, efficient, effective and reasonable pace.
10. Other duties as assigned.'
