Ability to design and execute from verbal instructions. Must possess good organizational and communication skills. Must possess good mechanical aptitude and have the ability to work on close tolerance equipment and/or parts. Ability to use various measuring devices (torque wrench, micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators etc.) Must be able to use math to calculate dimensions and determine equipment setups. Ability to fabricate, weld, or machine parts preferred. Ability to operate basic shop equipment (hoist, forklift, scissor lift, etc.) preferred. Excellent attendance required.     Assists Production and Quality Assurance departments in start-ups and operator training. Starts up jobs based on the master cycle sheet and trouble shoots basic processing problems. Pull molds according to established procedures. Follow Lock Out / Tag Out procedures as required when working on equipment. Assists in the sampling of new tooling by assuring that the tool is production ready and the area is cleaned and prepared. Applies the de coupled molding process when confronted with processing problems. Keeps accurate records of cycle sheets, the Process Change Logs, mold PM books, mold set-up checklist and sample packets. Performs basic PM procedures on tooling and production machinery. Complies with all safety policies and procedures and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
