Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. This position is for2nd shift, but the selected candidate willtrain on 1st shiftbefore moving to their regular schedule. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce high-quality parts consistently. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to work orders, prints, and specifications Load raw materials, perform machine offsets, and adjust tooling as needed Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production run Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools Maintain accurate documentation for production, inspections, and machine adjustments Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized Troubleshoot minor issues and notify supervisors or maintenance when needed Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Work collaboratively with leads and team members to ensure efficient production flow Requirements Previous CNC operating experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and measurement tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 lbs as required Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd IND2

Ensure operation and appearance of machinery, equipment, and facilities by completing preventative maintenance, inspections, setups, repairs and upgrades following diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer's instructions, engineering instructions and/or verbal instruction. Fabricate repair parts utilizing machine shop equipment and fabrication tools. Complete all functions necessary to maintain organized parts & supplies inventories. Understand and follow procedures and work instructions applicable to the job function. Report projects needing attention; fill out work orders, PM forms, and charts as needed. Communicate needs to supervision. Trains and transfers knowledge as needed. Maintains technical knowledge as required via internal and external means. Have welding ability to use mig, tig and arc equipment on carbon steel and stainless steel; do soldering and brazing. Have the electrical ability to work with and repair motors, motor starters, contractors, relays, distribution and use electrical test equipment. Must have experience performing normal maintenance repairs on factory equipment and have the mechanical ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, make necessary repairs, dismantle and reassemble most equipment used in the facility.
