The CCTV Operator position will be responsible for all activities related to the Closed-Circuit TV/Camera inspection of Sewer Lines, Stormwater Lines, Catch basin, and other structures. The Operator will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective performance of the work in accordance with the local, state, or commercial agencies' policies and procedures. This work includes: ensuring that work is conducted logically and in accordance with maps or GIS information, that work is documented for reporting purposes, and that work is reviewed before submission to the client. The Operator will provide safe and professional operation of a CCTV truck and be able to mobilize to each site and operate the equipment. The successful candidate will be an organized, hands-on person with good technical understanding, software manipulation, communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and professional operation of a CCTV Truck unit(s). Mobilize to each site and Safely operate the equipment.
• Inspect Sewer Lines and other structures using NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP guidelines and recommendations.
• Maintain CCTV Truck equipment in good operating conditions by adjusting, cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs.
• Attend various meetings related to assigned projects as needed.
• Work with the client to obtain maps or files for work execution.
• Responsible for briefing crew members on job assignments and expectations.
• Continuously monitor work being performed for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all field reports are detailed and complete before submission to the client.
• Assist with coordination of required project acceptance testing.
• Provide overall operations and monitoring of CCTV crew and performance.
• Ensure the efficient working of the CCTV control room.
• Ensure work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, current legislation, and the codes of practice administered by the client.
• Ensure that the control room and all equipment are maintained satisfactorily at all times.
• Ensure the accurate recording of all events and actions monitored from within the control room, including the maintenance of daily logs.
• Interface with partners and Field Inspectors in order to ensure that service level agreement is achieved.
• Ensure that files are stored securely under the Data Protection regulations and maintain security.
• Identify potential problems and notify management of any potential problems.
• Responsible for job-specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual.
• Compose and submit weekly status reports, weekly percentage completion reports, and daily reports to include project conditions, general conditions & activities, temperatures, weather conditions, subcontractors and personnel, hours worked, description of work performed, equipment used.
• Perform related work as required.
Qualifications
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED

• EXPERIENCE:
• CCTV Operator Experience (2+ years preferred). We are willing to train a highly technical candidate.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and undertake work safely, independently, and professionally.
• Flexible work schedule as required.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Must be in good physical condition to perform duties assigned.
• Thorough knowledge of CCTV and Sewer System practices, techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of maps and/or GIS Information.
• Possess the ability to read and interpret maps, plans, and specifications, and to compare them with various aspects of progress, to detect errors.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, clients, property owners.
• Must have basic math skills to assist with measurements and computations of installed quantities.
• Must be able to interpret and implement company-mandated safety policies.
• Must be able to operate a computer and computer software related to word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently and be able to multitask.
• Attention to Detail is critical to overall success in this position.

REQUIRED:
• Valid State of Georgia Driver's License
• Current PACP/MACP/LACP Certification
• Must have a current DOT Medical Card or be able to pass a DOT physical before the employment start date
