We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Warrington, PA office (Possible Float to our Abington, PA office as needed). The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45AM AM to 3:15 PM. Occasional weekend and Holidays are required.

Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
Medical Assistant/phlebotomy skills
Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
Provides pre and post op education
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved Support and promote excellence in customer service

Responsibilities include:
High volume of phlebotomy
Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records
Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure
Assist with HSGs as needed
Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information
Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by assessing minimum patient needs and scheduling accordingly
Schedule appointments
Address customer/patient issues and insure effective short-term and long-term resolution
Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns
Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage and financial options
Greet patients and visitors to the office and providing high level of customer service

Summary
Operates cardiac ultrasound equipment and performs high quality cardiac ultrasound imaging (echocardiography) to be used for the diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function of the heart.
Job Duties
Performs high quality Transthorasic and Stress Echocardiography imaging studies per protocol on adult and geriatric patient population including the knowledge of transducer selection, equipment knobology for optimal image, and the knowledge/ability to perform all measurements, per protocol. Performs the patient meet/greet (confirm ID and order), reviews history and supporting clinical data for optimum diagnostic results, conducts patient prep (explain procedure, answer questions, take BP, apply electrodes), monitors patient wellbeing during test to recognize potential medical problems and takes action, and develops documentation (including Technical Sonographer Report).
Provides fellow colleague/new hire, student, intern and/or Fellow proctoring/training.
Participates in echocardiography performance improvement initiatives and contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives; adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.

Summary
The ALS Technical Partner is a paramedic and will assist in providing quality care directly and indirectly to patients throughout their treatment course within the Emergency Department. Summary
Perform diagnostic CT and radiologic quality imaging under the direction of a physician using professional judgement while maintaining proper technical and radiation quality standards. Provides courteous and professional delivery of imaging procedures while adhering to radiation safety precautions to promote patient satisfaction. Supports patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding PHI and HIPPA related information. Works in a hospital facility that offers full hospital services. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients encompassing emergency, inpatient and outpatient classes supporting up to and including trauma and ICU.
Job Duties
Performs all types of imaging procedures & operates all equipment safely and properly including imaging equipment, injectors, & monitors.
Reviews images of all exams, repeating as necessary to providing radiation protection in accordance with safety standards for best possible results.
Communicates with the patient by addressing the patient by name, introducing self to the patient, explaining the exam in lay terms and keeping the patient Informed of exam progress.
Ensures appropriate exam is ordered and images are delivered to the correct patient folder in PACS.
Document LMP, fluoro time, number of images, appropriate history and any adverse reaction to contrast media or change in patient's condition.
Prepares patients for imaging procedures by reviewing patient chart/script to verify pertinent information, assess patient's needs, medical history, and provides patient education.
Attends department meetings or other mandatory meetings, assist with education and training of new employees, students and other ancillary personnel with a positive attitude.
Ensures coordination of daily work duties with the team and coordinates timing of exams.
Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the immediate work area.

Summary

Responds to internal and external audit requests in a timely manner
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members
Generates reports related to revenue cycle metrics, such as CDM accuracy, charge capture, claim denials, write-offs, and payment delays, and assist in analyzing trends
Performs all other duties as assigned/required
Experience & Knowledge:
A Revenue Cycle Program Manager should have a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience and a college degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar. A Program Manager should have demonstrated experience working in a patient accounting system, coordinating diverse stakeholders, improving Revenue Cycle operations, and utilizing pattern analytics and industry best practices to enhance systems and operations.
A highly qualified candidate should have experience with healthcare compliance, health information, inpatient medical billing and coding, and healthcare regulatory operations. Medical coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) is strongly preferred.
Significant Revenue Cycle experience (i.e., 5+ years in addition to the minimum) might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements.
A qualified candidate should have strong professional written and verbal communication skills, proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.), and the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.

During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member's current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. This provides unmatched insight into a member's overall health and well-being that can be difficult to capture during routine office visits. The Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA) helps to improve quality of care and allows us to potentially close multiple care gaps with a single visit. Our providers:
Conduct adult / geriatric assessments to include medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols
Administer and order point of care and lab-based testing as needed
Work with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as appropriate
Collaborate with Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education and follow up as necessary
Provide services at the member's place of residence which can be in their homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities

Functions as an emergency response medical professional that administers immediate medical care to victims of accidents, violence, and sudden illnesses such as cardiac arrests or strokes. The Adult Psychiatric Unit is a 29-bed locked unit. The unit provides comprehensive mental health care to individuals between the ages of 18-59. Individuals over the age of 59 are evaluated for admission on an individual basis. Patients admitted to the unit have a primary DSM 5 diagnosis/es. However, patients may also have additional diagnoses, including, but not limited to Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, medical comorbidities, etc. Patients must be medically stable as a criteria for admission. Safety practices include 15-minute safety checks, staff monitoring of all community areas and staff presence during meals and visiting hours. Works in a hospital facility that offers full hospital services. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients encompassing emergency, inpatient and outpatient classes supporting up to and including trauma and ICU.
Job Duties
Provides post procedure care to the patient (includes holding pressure as well as cleaning, suturing, and bandaging of procedure site).
Produces images of diagnostic quality. Processes and prepares images for interpretation by the radiologist, labeled properly. Corrects vessel, side, or product used label.
Acts as a scrub assistant assisting the physician during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy while maintaining a sterile technique.
Prepares and administers contrast, as prescribed, based on approved protocol under the supervision of the Radiologist. Assists physician in the performance of specialized procedures including sterile technique.
Verifies proper injection settings, checks connections between catheters and injectors, and injects contrast under physician supervision.
Sets up sterile tray. Preps patient for exam by grooming and/or prepping appropriate area. Secures and maintains supplies.
Ensures room is prepped and necessary supplies and equipment are in room, prepared for radiologist. Shows patient's name brought up on xray and US equipment. Positions patient on table for procedure.
Assumes responsibility for proper and efficient operation of all equipment used. Reports malfunction and the need for adjustment and/or repairs to Clinical Engineering and the Radiology Manager.
Keeps sterile and clean environment in IR lab and procedure rooms. Assumes responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation of the immediate work area. Does light housekeeping. Maintains orderliness. Assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her own safety and the safety of others.
Documents LMP, fluoro time, radiologist, antibodies, and staff involved in the case; estimated blood loss; and mGy. Ensures appropriate exams are ordered and attached to the correct patient within 30 minutes after procedure.
Ensures coordination of daily work duties within the team; coordinates timing of exams within department guidelines.
Ensures correct patient supplies are charged. Obtains proper patient information and provides labs, signs, symptoms, and history.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical School Diploma Radiology
Ability to possess a high degree of maturity and exercise individual judgment in working with patients, equipment, and personnel that are involved in vascular interventional exams.
Ability to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, families, physicians, and nursing personnel.
Must maintain a professional relationship with co-workers and medical staff.
Must be able to work in stressful situations.
RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania
American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 90 Days
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree
VI - Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT - State of Pennsylvania
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
