About the Job
We need you to fill the role of an Afternoon Extended Care Educator. This is a part-time, hourly position. About the Job
Group Exercise Instructors are responsible for leading in-person group exercise classes safely and effectively; assisting in program administration; managing class-related facility and equipment care; providing excellent customer service; participating in program marketing efforts; and completing occasional training and continuing education requirements. We need you to fill the role of Spin / Cycle Group Exercise Instructor. This is a part time, non-exempt, position. You'll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
Design and lead spin / cycle group exercise classes, both in-person and virtually if applicable (live and pre-recorded), according to current industry standards for safety and effectiveness, including proper warm-ups, cool-downs, and exercise/movement progressions.
Teach, demonstrate, promote and communicate proper class-specific exercise technique and form to achieve a safe and effective workout.
Provide safe, appropriate, and effective exercise modifications when needed or requested by participants with an emphasis on injury prevention.

Candidates with formal education, specialized certifications and trainings are highly preferred.

The position of Intake Coordinator will administer intake for Jewish Family Service (JFS), ensuring that clients are connected to the areas of service appropriate for their needs. This role includes managing the agency's wait list across services, in addition to offering appropriate and up to date referrals to a range of demographic and service needs. This position is often the first JFS staff member clients speak with at JFS. This role will ensure that all clients are provided with compassionate care during times of crisis. This position will also support the organization in general administrative tasks related to specific programs assigned and will serve on the administrative team, strengthening and streamlining all processes.

This coordinator will serve as the point of contact for all young adult community members, and the connector of members ages 21-40 to each other and the larger Austin Jewish community. In collaboration with the Senior Engagement Director and the Rapoport Team, this individual will help evaluate and grow engagement efforts, build a stronger presence outside of the Dell Jewish Community Campus by assisting with and growing micro-community experiences, welcome newcomers and keep track of touchpoints with individuals to grow their involvement. This team member will also oversee the Young Adult Division (YAD) Board and partner with young adult leaders to guide the direction of the group.

Essential functions

· In charge of all communications and outreach (included but not limited to social media, email campaigns and The Jewish Outlook articles/blog posts) related to YAD and other engagement programming
· Collaborates with Family & Community Connector to align relational engagement goals, and works with YAD Board to empower and support community members in planning and executing community-driven experiences
· Serves as a representative for Shalom Austin in national organizational networking opportunities
· Serves as bridge between lay leaders and board members, and empowers community members to become lay leaders
· Develops and executes programming for young adult giving society, YAD 3Sixty Club, and JFNA National Young Leadership Cabinet members, in conjunction with the Development Team.

Trainers will conduct a variety of assessments beginning with a preparticipation health-screening and may also include assessments of posture and movement, flexibility, balance, core function, cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular fitness, body composition, and skill-related parameters (e.g. power, agility, coordination, speed, and reactivity) to observe and gather relevant information needed to develop an effective exercise program and support client goal attainment. Assessments should be performed at the beginning and after a training program to measure client progress towards improved physical fitness.
