CDL A and CDL B Drivers needed for Browns Summit, NC location
Candidate will perform operation of a commercial motor vehicle with frequent stops/pickups. Performs general manual labor tasks associated with HAZWOPER and commercial tank truck operation. Tank and HAZMAT endorsements required or willing to obtain; about 30% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
Must have ability to wear a tight fitting, negative-pressure respirator and occlusive chemical protective clothing. Position requires working on uneven work surfaces frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes and weights including bending, lifting, pushing and pulling of tank truck hoses. May occasionally lift up to 75 pounds and frequently lift 40-50 pounds. Frequently climbs ladders, stairs, etc. May use hand manual and power hand tools hand shovel with exposure to noise and vibration. Periodic to frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals with designated personal protective equipment. Exposure to elements including heat and cold stress and nuisance dust conditions and woodland, streamside and swampland flora and fauna. May work up to 12 hours per day, seven days per week.
USEPA Level B, C or D: Tight-fitting, air-purifying respirator, hard hat, safety glasses with side-shields, steel-toe safety shoes/chemical protective footwear, ear plugs, leather and chemical work gloves, chemical protective clothing, and other as required by specific task.

Key Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for safely transporting material from a clients' location and to an assigned destination for processing or disposal. Performs necessary tasks to load and unload material utilizing commercial trucks and/or heavy/agricultural equipment. (May include tankers and end dump trailers in an off-road environment.)

1. Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at ELD.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a residential / recycling collection, side-load and/or rear-load truck, ancillary equipment and hydraulic system to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on specified collection route.
• Load solid waste, yard waste and/or recyclables into the rear or side of waste collection vehicle.
• Operate equipment on truck to compact trash into vehicle.

• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Maintain inventory of all container and residential carts and spare parts available and recommend purchase of additional containers, carts and spare parts to supervisor.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment

Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.
Log assigned vehicle daily.
Safely transport guests to and from airport and on property locations.
Promptly respond to shuttle calls and provide transportation to guests throughout resort property.
Wear and maintain the cleanliness of assigned uniform, including assigned headset.
Complete a full vehicle inspection at the beginning and end of each vehicle assignment/shift to include fuel level, cleanliness, and any physical damage to the vehicle. Clean and replenish fuel as needed. Report low fuel level or physical damage to vehicle prior to driving.

Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to maintain a safe driving history as defined by the Union County Vehicle Use Policy.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for safely transporting material from a clients' location and to an assigned destination for processing or disposal.
