The Corporate Web Development team operates a suite of websites that relate to marketing and strategic communications, including the global corporate website, verisign.com, and the company blog. These properties are deployed to production as static sites, but the team is working to build out CMS capability in pre-production to enable stakeholders to update site content more autonomously.
The key challenges we face with building the system are in automation of testing and deployment and ensuring high quality output that remains compatible across browsers and devices.

The team possesses extensive technical ownership over the product. The work style of the team is closer to an internal startup where all the team members are involved in the majority of product development phases and are flexible moving between focus areas.

For continuous delivery, we use Jenkins with pipelines and our product deployments are automated with Ansible and Terraform. The product can be rolled out from zero to the operating state in a single button click. We do builds for each codebase change as well as nightly builds. We have automated testing with substantial coverage.
