We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our team in Herndon, VA. In this role, you'll support mission partners directly, making a tangible impact on critical objectives. You'll collaborate with AI/ML researchers, software engineers, and cybersecurity teams to leverage open-source tools in building and maintaining a private cloud and AI/ML infrastructure. Our customers bring no shortage of unique and challenging problems, and we are expanding our system footprint to meet their evolving needs. Responsibilities: Monitor and respond to hardware and software outages across the platform. Maintain infrastructure supporting Data Science and Analysis R&D activities. Assist platform tenants and users with troubleshooting and requests. Implement cybersecurity remediations in collaboration with security teams. Upgrade, deploy, and integrate applications on the platform. Add and configure new hardware within multiple compute clusters. Review, update, and improve existing procedures and documentation. Ensure platform compliance with customer policies and organizational standards, while advocating for Data Science and Analysis needs in the face of cybersecurity requirements. Minimum Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI and ability to obtain a CI polygraph. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience); requires at least 2 years of Linux system administration experience. Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker/Podman, Packer, GitLab, and GitLab Runners. Skilled in Tier 1 and Tier 2 support with proven ability to troubleshoot complex environments. Capable of supporting a broad range of tasks, including software upgrades, patching, system monitoring, and R&D. Role Summary The Senior SharePoint Developer designs, builds, and enhances SharePoint Online and Microsoft O365 applications. Responsibilities include development, documentation, deployment, and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions. The role supports projects using SharePoint and Power Platform, serving a federal client with a global footprint and collaborating on operations, security, data management, and program management. What you will be doing Duties and Responsibilities: Develop new customer-facing applications and features in SharePoint. Maintain and enhance existing applications and features. Interact with business analysts and end users to elicit, analyze, and understand project needs and requirements. What we need from you Required Skills and Abilities: Strong experience with SharePoint, Power Platform, Modern Pages, SharePoint Designer, and Visual Studio. Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, APIs, XML, CSON / JSON, AJAX, and IIS. Experience with source control solutions such as TFS or Git Hub. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally within all levels of an organization. We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications utilizing SharePoint with proficiencies in REST API, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, InfoPath, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SharePoint Client-Side Object Model (OM), HTML, CSS, and SPFx. The candidate will inform and support the planning effort and migration from SharePoint SIPR on-premises to SPO. The ideal candidate will have prior SharePoint migration experience within the federal space. Candidate will also provide customer support for issues and problems with existing solutions.
