Develops and maintains an extraordinarily high level of skill in information technologies applicable to Sharp and web application development.Works closely with vendors to evaluate and recommend solutions; recommends the appropriate solutions to meet Sharp's needs, regardless of vendor.Acts as in-house consultant to IT application teams in the evaluation of new technologies and/or innovative solutions.Will lead other developers in the implementation of selected technologies and/or software solution.Is viewed by others in IT as the in-house technical expert.Works with IT personnel, vendors and clients in reviewing requests for appropriateness within the Sharp computing environment.Represents the department on strategic initiatives to ensure that a thorough evaluation is performed on possible impact to existing applications.Demonstrates strategic and forward thinking by conducting thorough analysis of downstream and upstream impact of issues and proposed solutions.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
+ Demonstrate understanding of application architecture and infrastructure as they relate to service delivery including availability and performance.
+ Demonstrate understanding of secure programming concepts as they relate to web application development with ability to define solutions that mitigate risks including but not limited to the OWASP Top 10.
+ Familiarity with PCI and HIPPA compliance requirements and ability to design and develop solutions that conform to those requirements.
+ Ability to mentor junior staff members.
+ Must be able to calmly and professionally respond to frequent deadlines for reports and related tasks, and to prepare work and presentations on short notice.
+ Must be able to respond calmly and professionally to telephone or face-to-face contact from angry or frustrated users/clients.

Scripps Mercy Hospital has served central and downtown San Diego since 1890 and is the oldest medical center in the county. The San Diego campus is located near the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillcrest. Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.
Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego's campus includes the O'Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit).
This is a casual (per diem) position based out of our Scripps Mercy campus in Hillcrest and will help support other Scripps Campuses as needed. The casual Dietitian helps support coverage for LOA's, PTO, and additional departmental needs. Flexibility to work weekends is required.

Our Clinical Nutrition team provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition care to all patients utilizing technical skills in an acute care setting. Skills include clinical assessments, screening for nutritional risk, developing, implementing, and monitoring a nutrition care plan, education, and follow up. They provide service to patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. Compliance to JCAHO Standards, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrates ability to provide appropriate age specific patient care as established for environment and job title.
Required Qualifications:
