Prior to that, he worked for various homebuilding and construction companies, including his own. Beckwitt graduated with honors from Claremont McKenna College in 1981. He lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Barb, and has two children.

Pros of working at Shea Homes

Training and On-boarding. The product they are selling was well done.

Cons of working at Shea Homes

The commute. The lack of management for employees that have tenure. A few CSR’s that had been there the longest showed lack of leadership & were not kind or helpful to others.

Not being micromanaged & having flexibility.
