About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Bilingual WarehouseSupervisor to oversee and coordinate all daily operational activities within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of optimizing logistics, managing diverse teams, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory to effectively manage our diverse workforce and ensure seamless communication across all levels.
Key responsibilities:
Operational Management (60%)
Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, inspection, storage, cycle counting, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
WMS & Metrics: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other relevant software to track inventory, analyze performance data, and produce reports on productivity, quality, and volume.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement innovative or adjusted workflow procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Equipment Management: Ensure all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is properly maintained, inspected, and operated safely by certified personnel.
Team Leadership & Safety (40%)
Bilingual Supervision: Directly supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing clear instructions, coaching, and performance feedback in both English and Spanish.
Training & Development: Conduct new employee training and continuous cross-training for the team on SOPs, WMS usage, and safety protocols.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company, local, and federal (e.g., OSHA) safety regulations. Lead regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Communication: Act as the primary communication link between the floor team, management, and other departments (Logistics, Customer Service, Production).
Minium Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment, with at least 3 years in a dedicated supervisory role.
Language: Complete professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
Leadership: Proven ability to motivate, lead, and manage a diverse team to achieve operational targets.
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and lift objects up to 50 lbs. as needed. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts, based on operational needs.

What You'll Own in This Role
Staffing and Management:
Maintain a well-organized, safe, and healthy work environment for the teams
Anticipate staffing requirements and participate in the recruitment process or coordinate with temporary staffing agencies as needed
Track and monitor daily productivity targets for team members
Provide consistent training, feedback, and coaching to ensure team success
Serve as a liaison between staff and management, reporting on production activities and any issues that arise
Facilitate onboarding and training for new team members
Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and coordinate the Shipping Team's efforts to provide support for Manufacturing as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, transport, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and bending consistently
Be physically able to work on your feet for eight (8) or more hours per day

Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct the day to day Shipping & Distribution operations to ensure orders meet daily delivery targets
Maintain and manage product inventory
Identify and propose process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within the department
Apply industry-standard problem-solving and productivity techniques to evaluate and implement recommended strategies and programs
Provide regular updates and escalate issues to Distribution Manager as needed
Lead and support root cause analysis investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions as required
Perform other duties as assigned (i.e. operate forklift and/or drive company vehicles)
Adherence to all company policies, processes, and procedures (i.e. Health & Safety Awareness)
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a Shipping Operations environment
Proficient in technical tools and software, including NetSuite WMS or comparable shipping/inventory management software, and Google Suite
Warehouse/Manufacture experience
Strong vendor management experience (including international)
High reliability, with availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, as well as occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, time management, and communication skills
Sound judgment with the ability to make independent decisions and effectively solve problems
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

The 3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading overnight outbound logistics and material handling operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate order fulfillment. LOCATION
Warehouse at HexArmor Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan
SCHEDULE
The standard work hours for 3rd shift are Sunday through Thursday, 9:30pm-6:00am. Additional overtime may be necessary, including additional hours or days.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, train, and mentor 3rd shift outbound and forklift operators, ensuring commitment to shipping 98% of orders within SLA and achieving 99.7% order accuracy with zero quality issues.
Oversee overnight picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Direct and monitor forklift and material handling activities, including replenishment and pallet movement.
Ensure all forklift operations are performed safely, by certified operators, and in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
Analyze workflows and labor utilization during 3rd shift and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with inventory control to support outbound order requirements.
Prepare bills of lading; verify items against work orders to ensure quantities, destinations, and routing accuracy.
Conduct quality and safety audits on outbound shipments, equipment use, and dock operations.
Ensure all transactions and movements are accurately recorded in the warehouse management system (Korber).
Manage shipping schedules and carrier coordination during 3rd shift, ensuring timely dock departures and handoff to day shift teams.
Enforce safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and equipment inspections to maintain a safe overnight work environment.
Prepare shift reports on productivity, shipping accuracy, safety incidents, and team performance for leadership review.
Collaborate with 1st shift and senior leadership to resolve issues and ensure seamless 24-hour warehouse operations.
Serve as the primary leadership presence for all operations during 3rd shift (team leads, outbound, inventory control, forklift operators and safety).
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, with 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role, preferred.
Hands-on experience overseeing forklift and material handling operations; forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite; shipping software experience a plus.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, overnight environment.
Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA compliance.
