    Work Mode: Onsite Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity The 3rd shift Process Control Technician is responsible for providing technical support in melt, molding, and process related functions for the Cast Iron Division manufacturing processes. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain samples from the molding lines and casting finishing. Prepare cast iron samples for metallographic examination; spectrographic analysis; Carbon and Sulphur analysis. Test samples to determine iron chemistry and microstructural composition. Fill out hold tickets when chemistries or mechanical properties are out of specification and notify the molding lines. Section castings and test material for further lab testing. Prepare chemical solutions as needed for testing. Communicate test results and other pertinent details to Melt Controllers, Molding Line Operators, Casting Finishing personnel and/or Foreman. Provide process information and support shop floor problem solving with various production teams. Maintain records and perform computer operations associated with daily Metals Lab operations. Participate in 5S and housekeeping activities in and around the lab, sample collection and cull pile areas where normal daily work is performed. Follow proper standard work, including the utilization of PPE and safety practices at all times. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment, including routine equipment standardizations and select calibrations. Perform any other duty assigned by supervision. Skills/Requirements High school diploma and one year of prior related work experience required. Must be mechanically inclined. Two years' experience or the equivalent in metallurgical and/or sand laboratory equipment, operation and maintenance preferred. Security Officer I is a friendly resource to individuals who need assistance, medical aid, crisis intervention, or local directions. They respond quickly in emergency situations as an integral team member and serve to protect the property, guests, visitors, and employees of Kohler Co. Specific Responsibilities Under the direction of an experienced Kohler Co. Security Supervisor, and within defined timeframes: Responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of personnel, customers, visitors, and assets. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of associates, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises. Greet visitors in person in order to provide assistance or refer to appropriate company representative. Operate a multi-channel radio with multiple frequencies. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform non-direct care tasks (no physical contact with the resident is allowed). Pass clean linen, closet or drawer resident’s clean laundry. Make unoccupied beds. Assist in straightening room, bedside stand, closet, and /or drawers. Stock supplies to resident rooms or nurse servers, assist caregivers in obtaining necessary supplies. Fill water pitchers. Pass water to residents capable of having water at bedside. Deliver mail to residents and assist in opening, as appropriate. Write cards or letter with residents. Visit with residents. Read to residents. Tune radios and televisions to resident preferred programs. Distribute linens and set tables prior to meals. Set up trays for independent residents, open milk, tableware, place clothing protectors, napkins. Serve food items to table of feeding personnel. Pick up tray's and food items from dining areas and return to carts (may not calculate or document percentage of intake). Provide general clean -up of spills during mealtime. Assemble activity equipment, assist with activity set up and take down. Assist activity staff with activity, but no care. Clean and/or straighten areas before and after activity. Assist individual residents in accomplishing activity. Answer phones, greet and direct visitors. Maintain nursing unit and patient areas in neat manner. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION No specific education required. EXPERIENCE No experience necessary PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Constant standing and walking. Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent reaching and gripping. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Occasional use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Occasional use of smell to detect/recognize odors. Rare crawling, sitting and keyboard use/data entry.
