• Project Engineer II‐ meets all requirements of Project Engineer I above and:

o Serves as a project technical source, providing interpretation and resolving questions and problems.

o Coordinates pieces of the project given proven skill and ability.

o Now involved in more detailed processes directly related to project execution, including

budgeting, resource allocation, schedule development and quality controls, or other similar functions that require more expertise and experience.

o Takes on additional client relationship building activities that lead to increased business revenue

for Baker Group.

o Position normally requires a 4‐year Engineering or Construction Management degree and 1‐4 years of experience, including internships.

o May begin to run small projects or develop a book of business on their own.

o Usually develops into a Project Manager role.

**Sheet Metal Manufacturing Engineer**

Reporting to - Project Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

+ Support Sheet Metal fabrication, manufacturing, assembling, and/or installation of various parts, structures, tools, and/or equipment

+ Work alongside production, engineering, and facilities teams to execute project deliverables

+ Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities

+ Carry out planning activities and associated tasks in support of the manufacturing production requirements.

+ Support with leading engineering teams supporting operational readiness for new equipment

+ Support deriving PFMEA and Control Plans for projects

+ Participate in cross-functional settings and work with support functions, manufacturing, quality engineer, and facilities.

+ Support cost reduction & continual improvement activities.

+ Analyze raw data and generate useable reports

+ Execute tasks in line with the Quality Procedures and Production system

+ Support / advise customer on the Environment & Safety issues, arising from the proposed production system, in line with Industrial regulation.

+ Support daily meetings for project execution

+ Identify areas for improved product manufacturability, reduced product cost, or improved product reliability.

+ Engage in shop floor for discussions, acquiring hard copies of Op Sheets, if needed to better understand the production process.

+ Utilize manufacturing process methods & techniques (conventional & CNC).

+ Create presentations based on process data and results to show opportunities for productivity improvements and cost savings.

+ Competent with Sheet Metal fabrication and manufacturing processes

+ Competency with machines and tools required to fabricate and manufacture Sheet Metal

+ Knowledge of processes for cutting, bending, attaching, and welding sheet metal parts, tools, or components

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes, Sheet Metal and Heat Exchanger manufacturing preferred

+ Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA and Control plans

+ Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering core processes (e.g. process planning, inspection planning, tooling, creation of operator instructions)

+ Ability to characterize various tools, gages, and fixtures

+ Knowledge of GD&T and can integrate it within a production process. A keen understanding of blueprint interpretation is desired as well

+ Experienced in AS9100 and basic manufacturing processes, methods, and techniques. Particularly in aluminum and steel brazing, welding, and machining.

+ Communicates technical subject matter proficiently, both written and verbally.

Education & Professional Qualification:

+ Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering | non-degreed minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

+ Experience with sheet metal manufacturing, minimum 3 years

+ Should have background in Industrial Machinery Procurement and Utilization
