Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Ability to responsibly load and unload of trash and recyclables. Knowledge and understanding of recycling, hazardous and municipal waste material Ability to assist drivers by providing guidance when backing trucks. Ability to take all incoming push to talk calls from supervisor and relay message to driver to ensure safety on road Ability to help driver Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. Knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre- and post-trip inspections Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, Ability to courteously interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
