TITLE: Part-Time CDL Driver SCHEDULE: one afternoon/evening during the week, and every 5th weekend both Saturday/Sunday The Part-Time CDL Driver plays a key role in the farm's shipping and receiving operations. This position involves operating trucks and trailers to transport materials between farms and occasionally to other local destinations. The role offers great flexibility with work hours and days to be discussed during the interview process. Safe operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and compliance with safety standards are essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate company-owned and leased trucks (over 4 tons) to support shipping and receiving operations. Transport cased eggs and packaging materials for delivery, pickup, and relocation between farm locations and other nearby destinations. Conduct pre-, during-, and post-operation vehicle inspections and perform routine user maintenance; submit required maintenance reports. Provide courteous and professional customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Safely operate all Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Maintain all required certifications as per DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Ensure all company property in your care is kept in good, serviceable condition.
