Job Description
Lead, direct and manage maintenance staff, equipment outages and projects, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Preventative Maintenance program, inventory and equipment to support the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities and Functions
Maintenance:
Conduct daily maintenance meetings to review plant issues, prioritize and schedule maintenance activities. Maintain strong awareness of plant operational concerns through operations daily logs and communication with operations. Follow-up on identified operational deficiencies.
Maintain oversight of Preventative Maintenance program to continually improve on the performance of plant systems and equipment. Plan scheduled plant shutdown maintenance activity that includes scheduling and directing contracted work.
Participate in the daily production meeting and is responsible for communicating maintenance issues to management staff. Participate in addressing plant issues and process improvements as a member of the management group.
Foster positive employee relations, and utilizes tools and concepts of continuous process improvement. Develop programs and procedures for operation and maintenance of process equipment to assure safe, reliable and efficient operation.
Program Management:
Direct a CMMS program. Maintain a high completion percentage and low back log on work orders. Establish and maintain a spare parts inventory and procurement program. Work with accounting to provide accurate and timely accounting for purchases and inventory.
Oversee development and administration of a maintenance shop and warehouse housekeeping program. Maintain accurate records of plant equipment to provide history of plant operation. Communicate maintenance issues to operations and recommend necessary changes to process equipment operation.
Assist in preparing annual maintenance budget and manage expenditures including overtime within the approved budget. Justify capital equipment expenditures and training for department personnel and prepare justification for non-budget purchases.
Policies:
Ensure compliance with environmental policies, procedures, laws and regulations. Report all noncompliance and endorse all aspects of company's environmental management system.
Promote all aspects of company's safety program, maintain safety awareness, report all unsafe acts or conditions that may cause injury to plant personnel or damage equipment and report and investigate accidents.
Assists in emergency response activities and drills to the degree of training provided; including incipient firefighting, chemical release, spill response, first aid, and other environmental or emergency actions as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct and lead maintenance team members and direct work of contractors. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and coaching employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. They communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
