What Do You Like About Working There?

It’s a good team. I love the benefits and family centered life I have that’s not scrutinized in the office. Everyone works together. And I love using my 15 years of management experience to help and teach others. Not to mention that the oil and gas business is every changing, and I’m constantly learning new things. I feel free to be innovative and share my ideas, with much encouragement and follow-through. Show More

What DON'T You Like About Working There?

It’s in Midland, TX. It’s not where I want to settle. But more than that, in the oil industry, your job status is ever changing. And the annuall layoffs or every other year layoffs is very stressful. There, ofcourse, is a lot of politics in the office. I’m not a political person. But I’m a workhouse, so I feel a little taken vantage of without the safety of being in the cliche when layoffs come around.during these next few weeks, we will be doing layoffs. But I was able to obtain 7 (excellent) letters of recommendation from other employees throughout Houston and landowners that nobody wants to deal with.. so I feel pretty good about that. Show More

What Are Your Favorite Benefits/Perks?

They have excellent benefits! Great healthcare. Great vacation time. And stock options. Sign on bonuses and yearly bonuses (which will not happen this year due to extreme reconstruction throughout the company) Show More
