Responsibilities: * Visually inspects wax patterns to ensure customer requirements are met * Dress defects using hot torches and hot plates; trims flash; fixes air bubbles; label patterns; assembles parts; applies sealant; keeps work area clean. * Accurately report daily production quantities Physical and Mental Demands: * Job is performed at a work bench where you have the option to sit or stand. Work requires attention to detail, steady hands, good visual acuity. * Constant use of both upper extremities to inspect, dress, repair, label and seal wax patterns. Injection Mold Operator - 3rd shift location Upper Sandusky, Ohio PRIMARY FUNCTION: To manufacture high-quality parts safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while minimizing scrap. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate various injection molding presses and assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Perform repetitive tasks in a mass production environment while supporting team-based operations and maintaining the integrity of the production cell. Perform miscellaneous general labor operations such as assembly, sorting parts and restocking cell functions. Track and record lot information through all processes on all components required.
