**What you'll be doing**
On a day-to-day basis, Hourly Operators are involved with the following activities:
+ Safely and efficiently operated packaging machinery and material movement equipment
+ Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability. Communicate verbally in writing to operators, employees, supervisors, and others regarding the identification of problems with productivity
+ Perform tool preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean
+ Contribute to keeping process materials records and maintaining good housekeeping practices
+ Keep log records of operational activities for optimal and thorough handover to other shifts
+ Understand and perform physical inventories
+ Safe work attitude and practical knowledge of industrial safety standards
+ Previous experience working with high-speed, high-volume material handling equipment, forklift, filling bottling, canning experience strongly preferred.
+ Production line operations with simple troubleshooting equipment
+ Operate forklifts to provide support to the packaging production lines, receiving in raw materials and shipping finished products along with all assigned duties within established operational procedures. Ability to work rotating shifts is required.
+ Operates a forklift safely, error free of quality defects and within planned targets
+ Perform duties to distribute products to applicable areas (load/unload trucks, support packaging lines, etc.)
+ Understands and perform physical inventories on raw materials and finished goods
+ Report operational issues to supervisor and maintenance
+ Complete all necessary paperwork to perform duties assigned
**What we need from you**
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa
+ You must have 1 year experience working in a packaging plant or experience in an industrial plant or military environment
+ Forklift and physical inventory count experience preferred
+ Must be at least 18 years old, with a minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
+ Willing to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation
+ Previous experience working with high speed/ high volume material handling experience
+ Possess a current and valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States Comply with all HSSE regulations, policies, standards, practices and actively participate in improving plant safety culture

The rate for this position is $23.44. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. In a maintenance role, you will be part of a team that is tasked with the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of our Congo Lubricant Oil Blending & Production facility. **What you'll be doing**
+ You will repair, install, calibrate, test, and clean plant electrical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Plan, Daily Operating Instructions, Standing Instructions, and Site Health, Safety, Security, and Environment procedures
+ Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability, and communicate verbally and in writing to operations employees, supervisors, and others regarding the identification of problems and completion of jobs in their area
+ Manage plant and electrical equipment upsets, abnormal conditions, and subsequent troubleshooting, including incidents/plant emergencies and subsequent follow-up
+ Assist in the coordination of daily maintenance planning and participate in shutdown and start-up of units
+ Contribute to keeping process materials records and maintaining good housekeeping practices
+ Participate in maintenance (electrical) activities
+ Other duties as assigned
**What we need from you**
+ Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis
+ Must be at least 18 years old
+ Minimum high school diploma or GED
+ Minimum 3 years of current experience as an electrician or controls technician in an industrial, military, or manufacturing environment, and have completed (documented) training or certification as a plant electrician in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
+ Able to read, write, and speak English
+ Willing to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation
+ Willing to support the company's drug-free work environment, harassment-free work environment policy, safety policies, and diversity and inclusion policies
+ Possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
+ Comply with all HSSE regulations, policies, standards, and practices, and actively participate in improving plant safety culture
+ An automation background, education in, or experience and understanding of industrial automation systems is a plus

The starting pay is $31.80 per hour. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, and internal equity.
For regular full-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
