Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy at all times according to SVMS policies and procedures; uses discretion when discussing patient matters. Acts as role model for ancillary personnel Practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act and understands legal consequences of nursing action. Other duties as assigned Essential Skills: Must have the demonstrated ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of lab testing, diagnostic equipment, and medical procedures and protocols is required. Must have excellent skills in patient communication and education. Qualifications & Education Requirements (add Licensure on pertinent jobs): Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Nursing School. Must have a current nursing license in each state of desired practice. Annual basic BLS/CPR certification is also required. Previous experience working as an RN is preferred.
