Primary Responsibilities: * Assisting with establishing mid-term and long-term strategic engineering initiative * Coordinating very closely with members of Mx Sys PMO technical staff, the prime contractor, and others to collaborate on systems architecture efforts * Developing PMO roadmap integrating key data from various internal and external resources including GitLab, Jira, Confluence, etc. and automate future iterations * Supporting partner and prime integrator management discussions, and assist with briefings for MxS leadership * Providing/preparing supporting documentation for the integration of cybersecurity strategy, F-35 Fleet Management, and other technical dependencies into the MxS Architecture, Data, and Business Logic models - to ensure the tech stack is updated accordingly * Modeling the optimal modernization path forward as defined in the modernization definition (i.e. architecture at all layers), re-evaluating system workflows, standardizing data management, establishing a consistent UI/UX framework, and building a robust business layer that incorporates modern architecture e.g. domain and test-driven development, and automated pipeline testing policy and quality standards * Assisting the Mx Sys Chief Architect to produce a Product Specification for the as-delivered ALIS and ODIN products * Supporting the development of a System Specification for future versions of ALIS/ODIN * Coordinating with other internal F-35 JPO organizations and external organizations to include the Office of the Chief Information Officer and prime support contractors on key engineering initiatives * Conducting searches for and identify GOTS and COTS products which can be used to replace existing ALIS/ODIN products to reduce cost and to improve reliability * Developing action plans for incorporating software from alternate sources, including ECPs, software sustainment plans, and plans for addressing the interfaces between software from different vendors * SECRET Clearance * B.S.
