Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on Saturday and Sunday ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Fulfilling the assigned duties and reporting completion of tasks to the supervisor. Clean areas 30+ feet high such as ceilings, vents, light fixtures, walls, windows, and other areas needing ladders over 6-feet or the use of a mechanical lift. Complete assigned duties per department standards and procedures, including the cleaning of drapes, upholstered areas, windows, elevators, mattresses, shampooing carpets, and clean hard surface floors. Set-up and perform preventive maintenance on department equipment. Inform management of any problems, equipment malfunctions and/or hazards. Must learn how to operate all equipment safely and how to maintain all equipment? Maintain working areas, storage areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean and organized. Responsible for annual deep cleaning of guestrooms Seasonal deep cleaning of hotel rooms and public areas; which include heavy duty cleaning in all areas of the hotel. Maintain organizational and communication skills. Proficient knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning agents. Assist other staff as needed, including laundry duties and cleaning hotel rooms. Job Description We're looking for a hardworking, dependable person to join our housekeeping team. As a Houseman, you'll help keep the hotel clean and make sure our room attendants have everything they need to do their jobs. What You'll Do: Bring clean towels and sheets to the housekeeping staff Take out dirty laundry and trash Help keep public areas like lobbies, hallways, and bathrooms clean Restock supply closets and housekeeping carts Report anything broken or unsafe Help guests if they need anything Help set up or clean meeting rooms when needed What We're Looking For: Someone who likes to stay busy and work on their feet Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Can work weekends and holidays Friendly attitude and good teamwork No experience needed - we'll train you! A typical schedule includes 8-hour shifts, five days a week, and may vary based on business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Repeated tardiness, early departures, or unexcused absences may result in corrective action, up to and including termination. Emergency or medical-related absences may be approved based on our attendance policy. Experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is helpful but not required-we're happy to train the right person.
