Every position at LWC is expected to adhere to the LWC Ministry Standard and Core Competencies and Values at all times. For this particular counseling position, we need an LCSW/LPC who will be available for some after school/work appointments. Minimum 3 years as an LCSW or LPC is necessary. Experience as a counselor supervisor would be a plus in this role. Telehealth and in-office at Harmony Baptist Association. What you'll do COUNSELING SERVICES: Counseling shall be provided to families, couples, and individuals utilizing professional skills and Christian compassion. Involvement in other related ministry activities as time and skills allow, i.e., marriage enrichment retreats, parenting seminars, support groups, etc. Maintain communication with the administrative assistant regarding hours available and sessions scheduled. Changes to availability should be made clear with sufficient time to accommodate the adjustment for office staff and clients served. Provide a minimum of 15 hours of counseling services each week. All new counselors have 3 months to build up client load.
