Denise Longman serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at AmSurg/Sheridan. She has oversight of the Compliance Department, which is responsible for promoting and monitoring employees’ adherence to the corporate compliance program. Denise leads a team of individuals who focus on auditing, provider education, privacy and regulatory affairs. She has over 20 years of internal and external audit experience serving in management positions at Ryder System, Inc and Arthur Andersen. Denise was also a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) consultant for several privately held and publicly-traded companies, including an engagement with Sheridan prior to joining.

Denise is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Certification in Healthcare Compliance. She earned her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Accounting from Florida International University.
